Good Question. Glowfest has already been mostly reduced. It only takes place in Sun Plaza and not on Hollywood Blvd or the Back Lot area. It appears that the two area don't overlap so it could continue on into the other. But ElecTRONica is a weekend only show so maybe glowfest will be cut down after next weekend.

Hey I am excited!!!! I loved glow fest, and electronica will be like glow fest, but with more lasers! So I am super duper excited to keep busting a move in the Hollywood backlot on Friday nights starting in October!

ElecTRONica sounds fun. DH will be excited about the video games. He's a little addicted to them - sort of like I am with Disney. Hey, anything that will get DH into DLR more often sounds great to me!

Does anyone know if Glowfest had face painting, or if that is something new?

It also look like the will have the video games in the old Hollywood and Dine building, in the east corner of the backlot.

I don't think the face painting was part of Glowfest, per se. But our granddaughter had her face painted in Sunshine Plaza just before we headed over to Glowfest when we were there. It was pretty close to the Glowfest area, so it didn't really matter if it was part of Glowfest or not.

I would check and see if Mickey's Trick or Treat is that night, because that will drive people over to DCA. But ElecTRONica I don't think will bring many extra people itself. It's more to give people something to do while the Paradise Pier attractions close for WoC.

Glowfest was extended through Sept 6th. Woo Hooooo!
