Glow with the Show/Made with Magic Questions

We bought the Glow with the Show ears in May 2014, not long after they debuted. At the time, they only worked with Fantasmic and Wishes. They actually didn't work right for Wishes, so we were somewhat disappointed after lugging them around all day. I see they have now been renamed to Made with Magic and also worked with the Osborne Family Spectacle of Dancing Lights in Dec.

Will the GWTS ears still work? Do I need to take them somewhere to be updated with new technology or anything? Or would I have to spend another $25 to get the MWM ears (which ain't gonna happen)? Are there any plans for them to work with OFSDL again this year? Thanks in advance.
