Glow with the Show and Pressed Penny Questions

We will be visiting the parks for two days next week and I have two questions:

(1) Do the Glow with the Show ears and wand (the only souvenirs my son wanted on our last trip) still work in sync any of the current nighttime events?

(2) Has anyone seen the 60th Anniversary pressed penny book in any of the stores recently?

Glow with the Show (now callled Made with Magic) items sync with World of Color, although there are not very many guests wearing the hats -- so not very spectacular.

They also work with Fireworks, but even fewer hats.
They likely work with Paint the Night, but I have never noticed anyone wearing one.

There were some ears at WoC when we were there last week. Not a ton of them but I definitely saw some and they were syncing.

I didn't see any 60th pressed penny books. I wasn't specifically looking for them but most of the stores had the 60th merchandise in a separate area and I was looking at all of it. I think I would have noticed as I've been looking for pressed penny books but can't say 100%.

I was also looking for the 60th pressed penny books and didn't see it in any of the stores in DL or DTD.

I just asked this today at Disneyland (several stores) and the PPH store. All 60th anniversary penny press books are gone. They only have a purple Tinkerbell book that's a little girly for my son.
