Can someone tell me where to find these online? I know I have seen links on the board to online sites that sell them. Just can't remember the links now.

Illuminationz.com has terrific prices- better than Oriental traders. But I think you have to buy in large quantities. Good if you have lots of kids and are staying a long time, or you want to be nice and share with everyone around you at the park. ::yes::

Hey dude!
Got mine off Ebay. Got 100 for like $8 and had some extra glow things and cool connetors to do things like make a ball and headband and so forth.

My dollar tree had glow bracelets, glow necklaces AND glow sticks. I have not opened them yet, but the sticks sounded neat, too!

when i called oriental trading, the woman told me that the glow necklaces/bracelets/etc that you crack when you are ready to have 'em glow are not permitted in wdw 'cause they have glass in them, and the only ones i could buy and take to wdw are the ones that have to be left in the light for a few hours and then will glow in the dark... i was kinda surprised when she told me that after having read here how many people bring their own glow necklaces... kinda bummed too...

:(

No one is going to check your glow sticks! We've taken them for a while now and no one blinks an eye. Go ahead and buy the one's you have to snap.

Wow, I didn't realize they had glass in them. We got a battery operated necklace and bracelet at Target for Halloween last year...it went to Disney and 2 Halloweens and it's still glowing. You turn it on and off and it has flashing or steady lights.

oh, don't worry, i did... i was just shocked that the saleswoman asked me what i was ordering them for (???!!!) and then proceded to tell me i could not have them (???!!! IMAGINE?!)... i told her i wanted to buy 'em and would use 'em for a home party instead (yeah, right!)... whatever... also, she told me that oriental trading is the company that supplies wdw with their glow stuff, so perhaps it's a conflict of interest to sell them to future guests!

I bought the ones you have to snap & we used them at WDW last Sept....no one said anything about them. BTW I got them off of Ebay for 100 for about 10 or 12 $$.

I can't imagine that WDW would ever check or confiscate anyone's glow sticks! How would they know that the glow sticks were the glass-containing type anyhow, once they're out of the package? Most glow items are made without glass these days (you can tell by reading the warning label on the package) but they work and look and feel just like the glass-containing kind, IMO. That being said, personally I always buy the kind that don't contain glass simply because I can't trust my 2-year-old to not bite through his glowstick! :)

Walmart has the glow earrings (clip ons) and mouthpieces too.:) The necklaces and bracelets at the Dollar Tree are more economical though.

I cannot imagine WDW having time to "police" glow sticks. I bought some at the Dollar Tree and plan on taking them. We used them last summer.

Head up though - some of them leak! I found this out when DD's glow stick had a leak, and the only way you can tell is in the dark when the glowy stuff gets all over everything - my shirt, my hands, DD's hands - then she rubbed her eye and started crying(maybe burned alittle, I flushed her eye with water and she was fine within minutes). A glow stick also leaked at a birthday party - my couch was glowing, it washed up but it still freaked me out.

I purchased glow bracelets and glow sticks (the kind you snap) today at Wal-Mart for $0.48. The are in the section with the jump-ropes and Silly String.

I purchased a round tube of 100 of them for $10 on ebay, which included the shipping costs.

I use them at parades, knoebels, wildwood and also put them in my daughter's b-day party gift bags. They come in handy for anything. If I run out, I'll be getting mine on eBay again. Can't resist that price for 100.

I ordered 100 glow bracelets from www.illuminationz.com for less than $7. They have lots of stuff and I recieved my stuff very quick. I would highly recommend them. We ended up passing some out to the kids sitting around us.
BTW, 100AcreMom, Hey, I grew up on Jekyll, lived in Bwk after I married and just moved to Savannah! Small world!

I buy 'em on ebay also. Last bunch I got was for 500 (about $27 shipped and included glow ball connectors and 2 sets of mouse/bunny ears). My kids love 'em and we use them for all night time events and sometimes just for the fun of it. :) Only had 1 leaking incident and that was when stick was bent completely in half -- leaked on crease.

My Target has them in the party section.

Necklaces (the kind you snap) are $14.99 for 15.
Bracelets are $4.99 for 10.
They also had 10 bracelets for $1.99, but these are the more flimsier kind you have to hold up to a light to glow.
