glitter with transfer paper?

hi.

has anyone here tried to add glitter to transfer paper to iron on? i know that i could use glitter fabric paint and paint over the transfer when i am done transfering it onto the shirts, but i was wondering if there was any nice, neat way to press in/on some fine glitter powder onto the transfer sheet prior to ironing it and still have the whole thing stick properly to the shirt.
