SCARED TO DEath , never been anywhere by myself
in over 35 years . BUt Im looking at dates and cars
and tickets now for Nov.12th thru Nov.16.

I think you were so brave doing one yourself ,, I said to
myself , Glenda did it so I can too ! ! !




Can your Mom come with me ?

You are going to have a great time! Like I said, it may be a bit weird on the shuttle bus going to the park. But once you get off and start walking towards the entrance, you will be so happy! I asked myself, would I rather feel a bit weird in Disney alone, or be home on my couch watching DVDs. Really, it's a no brainer!

I'll let my Mom know you want her to go with you!

Again, Congrats! And just pretend you're not nervous to your family/friends, cause they'll just make it worse. So go ahead, allow yourself to be scared, because believe me, when you step off that bus, it'll all go away!

Whew. I'm tired. I just spent the last three days catching up on your TR. I'm new to DIS (I've been on another "unmentionable" boards for years and thought I'd branch out). There's much more info for solo travellers here. That's how I came across your TR. Glad you wrote it!

I'm heading to WDW solo Jan 5-10. Can't imagine anyone there would recognize me, I'm pretty much run-of-the-mill looking. I've done one other solo trip two years ago and LOVED it! It's hard sometimes being without my husband and two kids, but fun nonetheless. I've already started my pre-trip report but not posting it yet. Seems wierd to start a report before you've even gotten there!

Kudos to you for taking the solo plunge and I hope there are many more fabulous and healthy trips in your future (full of those long-tall-drink-of-water-type men!)

In Dec. I THINK I'm going solo. My friend still hasn't given me the final word. I'm planning as if I'm going to be alone, so if she can't go, I'll have a plan B! I'm meeting DISers for dinner each night I'm there except the night I arrive. So I'm looking forward to meeting even more new people!

I'm really looking forward to it too. My Mother works retail, so that time is blocked from taking vacations. I'll try my best to get some pics. But now that I know how to post video, get ready to see me talking to myself at all of the parks!

I bought this frame for it at World of Disney, and I taped the Tinkerbell pin to the top of the frame, and the button Antss made on the bottom! It's now prominently displayed in my living room.

Hey! All you have to do is left click on the image, highlight the web address beside "Properties", copy it. Then when you go to edit signature, click on the yellow square above the box that looks like it has a yellow mountain in it, paste it. If you still have problems, it may be because there is an extra "http" or quotes in it.

Good early morning! What's your exact count as of this moment? I'll try to get you some good pictures this weekend of the Christmas stuff to get you pumped up for your trip.

I'm headed out early to find a pharmacy that's open, because my throat is almost all the way closed this morning. It's kind of scary, actually, because it's never been this way before. I surely don't want to croak before I see a Disney Christmas in person, so I'm going to see what I can find to help. Luckily, we have a great school nurse from Vanderbilt, so I'll be visiting her as soon as she gets to school today. I want to be all well to enjoy this very short trip with the boys.

Well tomorrow is the big day! I am so excited. It just started snowing yesterday here in Chicago. So it will be nice to get out the cold. I have been feeling a cold coming on. And this morning I had the stuffy nose and sore thoat. I hoping once I get into the warm weather, I will be fine.

I will report back about the weather for you.

Hey Debbie! Hopefully you'll get this before you leave. Take some tea and maybe some pop tarts and instant oatmeal with you, so you can have something warm to eat in the morning before heading out of your room. And if you have any Vitamin C or Multi-vitamin, cold medicine take it with you. Hope you have a great time! Can't wait to hear all about it!

Hey Glenda!!

Got back from my trip 5 days ago and just want to head back! It was great weather, low crowds and just enjoyable!! However, after traveling with 4 other women, I think I am ready for a solo trip!!!

Loved MVMCP & the parade!!! Lots to do, fireworks were beautiful;...but enough of that...I still have to start my TR!!!!
