not a big roller coaster fan, and was wondering if there any coaster in WDW that I would need to bring a eyeglass strap or just hold my glasses? can't see a thing without them, so would prob. bring a strap. I believe one does a complete flip-over and not sure how jerky the others are.
thanks for any help.

On some of the rides, I stick my glasses inside my shirt. They're not going anywhere!!!

I've ridden every coaster and have never taken my glasses off nor used a strap and I've never had a problem.

I accidentally left my sunglasses on when riding Expedition Everest which is probably one of the more extreme coasters there(though I didn't get to ride RnRcoaster) and I didn't lose them if that helps at all. BTM and Space Mountain are pretty tame. I'd advise taking them off at the drop for Splash Mountain though, you can't see much during it anyway.

HaHa! From the title of this thread, I thought it was about drinking glasses and coasters to set them on to protect furniture!!

I take mine off for Rock 'n' Rollercoaster at DHS. I don't know if I have to but I'm not willing to take the chance. I don't remove them for Expedition Everest.

Me too!!! I was all set to flame some Disney coasters that messed up our furniture. Maybe another time. :(

I think it depends on your glasses. I've had really nice glasses that fit well that are no problem but sometimes my trendier glasses aren't as nice so they don't fit as well and might be a problem on coasters.

If you think it might be a problem and it would ruin your trip to go without your glasses then peace of mind having a strap would be worth it even if you end up not needing it.

Have a great trip!

the only coaster you would have to worry about is rockn' roller coaster and even then your going fast enough that everything around you is mostly a blur so you wont be missing much

now if you plan on going to universal that thats another story entirely. the only roller coaster that i was able to keep my glasses on was the mummy the other ones go upside down and do other tricks that will make you loose your glasses.
