Just got back from 4 wonderful nights at BCV. It was my first time there, and I truly enjoyed it.
When I checked in, we were assigned to studio #528. I totally forgot to make sure it was NOT a handicapped accessible room when I was at the checkin desk. I read on these boards about the drawbacks to those rooms for people not desiring an accessible room. Sure enough, when we got to the room, it was a handicapped accessible room. We mainly wanted a room with a tub, and I also thought that the room should have been left available for anyone checking in who might need it or ask for it. So I asked for a new room.
We were immediately changed to room #427 with no problem. It was nice and close to the elevator, as the other one had been, but it was on the other side of the hall. Turned out that we had a terrific view of all the Illuminations fireworks. I loved sitting out on the balcony hearing the music and watching the fireworks.
Going back in just a few more weeks, and I can't wait!
