I just got home about an hour ago from the craziness in Philly. It was awesome!
Septa was good about having lots of extra busses and subway trains in the city, but they didn't do anything about their regional lines. I was in Wilmington, DE and my train was 30 minutes late but as soon as we got on it became express and didn't stop at the last 6 or so stops before reaching Philly. I saw the people at the PA stops and they were confused that we weren't stopping.
I had tickets for the celebration at Citizens Bank Park and the regional line to get home was AWFUL, but only for those that lived in DE...everybody else was on time and we were 97 minutes behind

The only perks for the regional line was that it was free today.
The energy at the Parade and at Citizens was just amazing and it was great to celebrate it with the players. I also loved my close-up of Cole Hamels
They estimated that over 2 million people were at the parade today. That's just insane.
And then I got home and found out that I am an aunt again! Megan Julia was born at 5:29 this afternoon.

I can't wait to meet her!
