I hung onto it for awhile, hoping I'd get back down, but now it's time to face the facts and remotivate myself.

Lots of excuses for me....
Wonder cruise with a wait staff that INSISTED you ate two desserts.
9 days at Disney.
The holidays and all of the food that goes along with it.
Out of town company that HAD to be fed lots of food.
Stress eating from dd having surgery on New Year's Eve.
Too busy to exercise at Curves or do WATP.
Too viral to get up to go to Curves or do WATP.
Flannel sheets too comfortable when it's 10 degrees so unable to remove myself from bed to get moving.

I could go on, but the fact is, I've overeaten and now it's time to stop feeding myself past full. It's time to stop nibbling even when I'm not the least bit hungry. It's time to go back to water even though a Coke sounds much tastier. :)

So, goodbye "goal" clippie, hope to see you soon!!!!

I'm sure you'll have that beautiful red clippie back in your signature soon, OM. 5 pounds isn't so bad over the holiday season and with all you've had going on. I'll bet you find that a lot of it is water and comes off quickly. Good for you for getting back on plan and :wizard: that things go well and you have that goal clippie back soon!!

Good for you to tackle this while it is still only 5 lbs! A few years back, I lost 40 lbs (yeah!) It slowly crept back. I kept saying, alright, I'm gonna get serious, but I didn't. 5 lbs became 10 lbs became 15 lbs..... I now need to loose 25 lbs! Not bad, but 5 lbs would have been so much easier.

Hats off to you and be proud that you are taking control before it controls you! You'll have that red clippie again in no time!!!

Ohiominnie, I am impressed by Y*O*U! That red clippie must have been hard to give up but I know you will have it back soon! Thanks for coming back to WISH and showing us this is a life long journey. I know you will continue to be a success! You are a WISHer afterall! ::yes::
I won't thank you, however, for scaring me about my DCL cruise. ;)

you'll be there lickety-split :teeth:

Five lbs is something to be proud of considering all that! you are not the only WISH illegally wearing a clippie -- BUT it's motivating me to reclaim it! And 135 is a weight to be proud of, you know. You are still slim and trim, but I know you'll feel better being back on plan! Kudos to you for giving it your gusto!!

You will have that goal clippie back in no time!! We are all here to keep supporting and encouraging you along the way!!! :)

Good for you for giving up the "Goal Clippie" and giving yourself motivation to earn it back! You should be able to drop those 5 pounds relatively quickly and be sporting a brand new goal clippe in no time at all. In the grand scheme of things and with all that you mentioned, 5 pounds isn't much, congrats to you!
