dear professionals, which i am not.
one of the reason i first started posted years ago was the pictures
found here.
we did an alaska cruise this past june~the 21st-28th. while in atlanta
airport, i was mugged by a tram passenger not holding on. [ not on
purpose]. in catching him, my lil' camera was lost.
two of your professionals were on our cruise & they were very gracious
in permitting me to share their some of their photos. before i could get
around responding to their e-mails, they disappeared.
,
,
...we are very grateful for their
acts of kindness.
one even sent me a copy disk....thanks a million Brian!
we still had my wife pictures. but this greatly enhanced our ability to share
with friends & family why doing an alaska cruise is worth the extra costs.
[ after all pictures are worth a thousand words. ] .
also we must been "together" because many of their pictures were
similar to the ones i remember taking. liked leaving port, the ship 's wakes
were like ringing the dinner bell for the eagles.
i chose the ones that were similar to the same things we did, so i can
add the stories with them. amazing enough, we were in several of
their pictures~ talk about a small world experience~
i also give credit, to anyone looking outside our family, workplace.
the losses from my were 2 parts. first was many extra characters pictures.
we adopted 3 special-needs families in our community. appox. 3 years
ago the kids let me know that they have no pictures of themselves-
ever. so besides taking a series with them, we have been building a
picture album. and since we been doing disney vacations-liked more
years i care to admit- & dvc members, we have been including disney
characters pictures. many of the wonder 's crew were helping us.
also lost many pictures of the crew. [ when we write any letter to the
company, we like providing them a picture/s so they know exactly
who we are talking about. i am sure you know many of the crew
do several jobs , & on this cruise we were helped several times. even
though we have thousands of pictures and many trips/cruises , we
usually have a few things we hope to accomplish each voyage.
what i liked best about all our disney trips, are the surprises that
we never saw coming. sweet lil'ariel took made a real bond with
our daughter when she wasn't performing. mulan from the show,
went out of her way to help me get some of those pictures too.
just a hint, but ariel was @ the gold panning excursion but you had
to paid attention to have caught her. well she was "out" of water.
sorry, i didn't get to the e-mails fast enough. but having your
home address , will allow us to send a real "disney" thank you.
...we have the old cannon ae-1. funny now, but it claimed "the
first computerized, shutter-priority automatic slr. a new
generation. now we're the old generation-
, but the
lenses are supposed to still work on the current cameras.
today, i am just looking for a camera to tell the story. there are many
great story tellers on this site. sure was lucky we had 2 of them on
our cruise.
,
and this is why i come here, even though i am not a professional.
( the "tips" guy, has helped some of my pictures.)
