Including the Swan/Dolphin/BC/YC area......Not on the dining plan and not going in the parks - so give me ideas please.
Thanks

We really enjoyed Big River Grill. Service was relaxed and you can sit at the bar with appetizers if there is a wait. The food was awesome. Highly recommend it.

That's easy. That area has some of the best food on property.

#1 bluezoo at the Dolphin
#2 Flying Fish at the Boardwalk
#3 Kimonos at the Swan

Breakfast - Kouzzina on the Boardwalk
Lunch- Beaches n Cream Beach Club
Dinner- Yachtsman Steakhouse the Yacht Club

Yachtsman Steak House and Captains Grille int he Yacht Club
Cape May in the Beech Club for dinner and -if you want some characters breakfast has them:cheer2:
Beeches and Cream is good food but sandwiches so we go there for Ice Cream:thumbsup2
Shula's is fantastic
If you go to DTD there are many other good places to eat and one being Wolf Gangs Express and for sandwiches Earl's. Have a fab trip:cool1:

Shula's, Kouzzina and the Yachtsman Steakhouse would be my current picks. Kimonos deserves an honorable mention. I'll be trying the Flying Fish and bluezoo for the first time in three weeks (!), so I may have to alter this post next month. I also hope to hit the Cabana Bar at the Dolphin for lunch at some point. Their menu makes me think that the place is a true hidden gem.

Since Blue Zoo and Shulas are considered world class restaurants not just in comparison with other WDW restaurants, one has to consider them strongly. But Blue Zoo is so cold I don't go any more even with a winter jacket - and you need one there. Shula is great, but my preference is Il Mulattos - amazing Italian food. My all time favorite though is Flying Fish - and if they have soft shell crab on the menu don't miss it! I love Kouzinas but it would fall second after FF. And I have not tried Komonos yet, but plan to - it sounds wonderful. ESPN, Cape May, all the rest are fine, but certainly not in the same category as the above.
