My husband and myself are going to WDW the last part of April. We are staying at the Yacht Club and thought about trying Spoodles. I'd like to hear anyones thoughts on this restaurant. If nothing else I love Margaritas and I did read they have a good one there.:bounce: :bounce: :bounce:

Thanks,
Kimbra

I Love Spoodles!!!!

Somehow we missed it for so long, but finally went on the last day of our honeymoon and it was amazing. The food is interesting and tastes great, the desserts were amazing, the staff was all so friendly, I can't say enough good stuff about this restaurant. We are going back in March for sure! I'm sure you'll love it as well!

I'm a fan of Spoodles for sure. This isa hustly bustly restaurant and it has a nice range of food on the menu and a great wine list. The servers are really good. I like the Tapas and flatbreads that they offer. They had a great Veal chop last time we were there and their filet mignon was to die for. Sadly we never have enough room for the dessert sampler which looks divine.

We ate at Spoodles in November and really liked it. We had a party of 8 (ages 61, 59, 57, 57, 38, 36, 4, and 2). We took some pictures of the food and family, along with descriptions, while there and here is a link:

Spoodles is my wife's and myself favorite place to eat at WDW. I had the salmon on our last visit in Dec. and thought it was the best I had ever had. We never go to WDW without eating at Spoodles at least once on every trip.

Not sure if you were considering breakfast there at all, but it was FANTASTIC when we went last year!

We ordered a variety of entrees and appetizers and we completely happy with each one. My personal favorite was a 4 cheese and garlic flatbread pizza!!!!!!!!!!! It was excellent!!!! We were happy with all our selections from the flatbread pizza to pasta entrees and sangria.

We just came back early this morning and ate at Spoodles on Feb. 3rd and really enjoyed it. We had a party of 7 that included four adults and three children. There was a variety of dishes that pleased everyone in our group. Definetly give it a try!

We loved Spoodles (poodles, as my 3yo called it)! We plan on eating there again when we go in May. Which brings me to my question. Last time we went, I was not in charge of planning. This time I am. Do I need PS for Spoodles? If so, is that through Disney Dining or is there a direct line I can call for Spoodles?

Thanks.

We have gone to Spoodles on our last three trips. It's one of our favorites:D

we love love loveeeeee breakfast there. Though Im very disappointed that the bread pudding wasnt there last time.

I used the recipes on Family Fun and made an amazing dish from Spoodles that got rave reviews from my guests. Though, I haven't eaten there I loved this dish which makes me really want to go and try it:

LINGUINE WITH PROSCIUTTO AND MASCARPONE

1 1/2 cups mascarpone cheese
1 egg yolk
1/2 tsp. ground nutmeg
3 tbsp. olive oil
4 vine-ripened tomatoes, cored and halved
Kosher salt and fresh cracked black pepper
1 lb. dried linguine pasta
12 tbsp. unsalted butter
3 oz. thin-sliced prosciutto, cut into small strips
12 sage leaves
1 tbsp. parsley, chopped
Combine the mascarpone, egg yolk and nutmeg; set aside. Heat a large sauté pan until it is very hot, then add olive oil and tomatoes cut-side down. Sear tomatoes over high heat for 5 minutes or until brown, season with salt and pepper and set aside. Bring 2 gallons of water with 3 tablespoons of salt to boil. Add pasta, and cook according to brand instructions. Drain, reserving 1/2 cup of the cooking water, and place pasta in a warm serving bowl. In a saucepan, cook the butter, prosciutto and sage over medium heat until the butter becomes brown. Add the butter mixture to the pasta with the mascarpone and reserved pasta water. Garnish with the seared tomatoes and the parsley.

I thought I was close to coming to a final list of dinner PSs to make and now I am thinking Spoodles? Hmmmm...

That recipe sounds awesome, I think I will go back and print that!

Wishing everyone a "magical" day!

If you have a good idea of when you want to go I'd say to go ahead and make a PS. They are handled through Disney Dining. I've seen the restaurant pretty busy (45 minute wait...luckily we had PS's) You're lucky though that if there is a wait there's plenty of stuff to go do on the Boardwalk while you wait!
