This is our third trip with a travel party that includes 5 adults and 2 kids. The kids are 9 & 6. We fly out on Feb 11 - 12 days from now we should be at our resort at about this time. OMG!

Before we go, I always post a quick "last minute tips/tricks" post mostly to get myself excited and to finalize last minute fixes, packing lists, etc. FWIW we have have never been to WDW in February. In fact this is our first vacation in the winter EVER.

So give it to me - a touring tip, a do not miss this tip, a packing tip, a drink suggestion, finding some extra magic in the parks tip....whatever you got. Lay it on me.

Here's our plans:

White elephant cupcake from Harambe village in Animal Kingdom, just outside of the safari. That was our new discovery this trip. Really yummy!
Oh, and the salmon at the counter service place at the Animal Kingdom Lodge was delicious!

Pack the kids' (and adults) outfits in gallon sized baggies- underwear and all. If you've got special outfits planned, label what day- ex/ Monday- that the outfit should be worn.

If you're getting to your resort by lunch time, I would head to a park.

I've always wanted to ride Jungle Cruise at night!

Play the piggy bank game in Innoventions.

You must like BTMRR. DH and DD rode it repeatedly during a parade while DS and I watched the parade. If you do this, be prepared to get stuck back in that area. We loved riding Splash at night and seeing the castle all lit up. We didn't get wet at all but I don't know if I would chance it if it's cold.

Splash won't be open on our trip which is why we scheduled BTMR twice - it was closed our last trip. I have never ridden it at night and can't wait! Also my mom and daughter won't and can't ride Space yet so that's why I only got one set of FP for everyone.

If you have kids that want to meet Anna and Elsa (if they are still there), get in line at park opening. You'll wait 2 hours instead of 6 (yes, I kid you not). We got to Norway a bit before 11am and the line was for the 4:50 meet and greet! We went back a couple of days later and traded in and out of line from park open and were the 5th people in (yes, 4 other families beat us to the line). You only need one person in line, so you can trade off, which is what we did.

Oh, and also, bring rain jackets and layers. On Wednesday it was 46 and pouring! We were at HS that day and tons of things were cancelled. It was miserable, even with rain jackets.

I just got back from WDW Sunday night. Definitely wear layers on the cooler days. I wore a tank top, long sleeve T, a sweatshirt, and one of those packable down jackets that squish up into a small sleeve. I just went in the restroom to remove/add layers as needed. I also brought gloves with me.

We rode Jungle Cruise at night for the first time. DH said he enjoyed it more than riding it during the day.

If you need Advil or Tums or Pepto, stuff like that, their is s shop in Frontierland that has these on a shelf in little barrels behind the counter. Never knew this. DH needed Tums and insisted he had seen these in the parks before so we kept stopping in all the shops until we found some. I think it was about $2 for a roll of 12 Tums.
