The DH and I are going to WDW in February for the Princess Half weekend, and I'm working on making our ADR's. We won't be going to any parks, so the only places that we can eat are either at the resorts, or in DTD. We'll be there from Friday afternoon til' Sunday morning, so we're in need of 3 dinners, 3 lunches and 1 breakfast. We're really intrested in trying some new places, but I'm also a pretty picky eater, so I'd like to stick with places that would still have my comfort foods. The places that we have tried are: 'Ohana for breakfast and dinner, Kona for breakfast, Whispering Canyon for both breakfast and dinner, Trails End for dinner, Chef Mickey's for breakfast and dinner, The Wave for dinner, Earl of Sandwich for lunch and dinner and Planet Hollywood for dinner. So...based on that, does anyone have any suggestions. I'd really like to expand my horizons and try one of the AKL restaurants, but I'm so afraid that there won't be anything that I'll like. Thankfully, the DH will try and like just about anything!! TIA!

Most certainly check out Wolfgang Pucks Express for lunch or dinner. Not sure if you are on a dining plan, but it is CS but you are treated like TS. The food is terrific, the pastas and the pizzas all very good.

we went to the yatchsman and thought the food there was very good. also did cape may for dinner and liked that. we are going to try boatwrights and boma this trip.

The Wave at CR for L or D is great. Kona great for B of L. Try Boma at AKL. Shula's at the Dolphin is great. Flying Fish on boardwalk is good also.

I saw you had Kona for breakfast, but we enjoy Kona for dinner. The food is excellent.
Here's some more that we like:
Boma at AKL - best buffet ever, and I don't like buffets!
Earl of Sandwich at DTD - it's CS, but it's great CS!
WPE at DTD - again, great CS. My husband thought I was lying when I told him it wasn't a TS!
Kouzzina at the Boardwalk - our favorite restaurant on property!

I have to second the vote for Boma :thumbsup2
I was NOT looking forward to eating there; hate buffets and the menu looked  to me. So we went and I just started putting samples of things on my plate. It turned out to be SO GOOD!! I only had one thing that I didn't like and let me tell you, I tried it all :lmao:
I am going again a week from Saturday  and can't wait!
