Give me reasons why it's not so important to be first for boarding.

Are there two lines at the terminal? We have cruised before but I don't recall. If we arrive at about 11:00 will we get in one line to check in and then another line to board or does the 1st line continue into the second line? In other words can we get checked in and then just walk around the terminal until they start to board and then get in the second line. It appears that the wait to get on the ship is short once they start boarding so it may be easier to wait to get in line.
