Sorry if this has been posted elsewhere, but I saw this coupon in our local paper, where a portion of your Papa John's order(through the weekend) will go to GKTW if you use a special promo code and order online.

So here's a pic(I can't figure out how to rotate it, so just tilt your head. It's good for strengthening your neck muscles anyway): papa.jpg

Well that's the only reason I would ever buy a pizza from Papa John's.

$15 for a pizza with only 2 toppings?!
I think I've found the only thing that's cheaper in australia than america!!

I see the UK in the corner! Cats! Cats! Cats! Go Cats!

No, silly Jes, it's a pizza AND a giant cookie!::yes:: Like enough cookie to feed several people. So that's good, right?

I didn't realize Papa John's partnered with Give Kids the World. That's great. I'll get a pizza this weekend if they are doing it in my area.

Hmmmm Nope, still not cutting it.
I can get a pizza (admittedly, it's probably a lot smaller than an American pozza) with a thick base and many many toppings and 2 packets of tim tams for less than AUD$15

And if you've never had Tim tams, you'd not know that they're infinitely better than a choc chip cookie.

I agree with you guys on two counts:

1. It's not great pizza(I typically don't order PJ's in my town)
2. You can get cheaper pizza elsewhere

But it's for SUCH A GREAT CAUSE. HAVE A HEART, JES!!!! :)

Kuzco, if I can call you that? Well, I am anyway so deal with it... I'd gladly order, for the donation to GKTW. Even if the pizza only has cheese and salami and an oversized cookie that I wouldn't eat (Mr Princess Jes would devour it so it wouldn't go to waste)
I have no idea what's a good place for pizza in America? I'm on a Pizza Hut bandwagon at the moment, but it's far from good pizza. It's more like comfort food.
Don't even get me started on the atrocity that is Domino's!!

Well, we don't get Papa John's very often. But, we usually get really good specials here in our college town (PJ's certainly got me through school - couldn't afford the really good stuff). I'm thinking this is close to full price to give the donation?

Ok Jes, you must describe in minute detail these Tim tams that you speak of, cause better than a fresh baked, gooey chocolate chip cookie!?! I must know of these.

I have no idea what "Kuzco" means. If it's a compliment, I'll take it.

And yes, Sunny, I'm all about the Cats. #BBN

Ahh... Your name is king llama? The only King llama I know of is Kuzco. Is that not what the Disney reference is?
C'mon llama! Please tell me you're yanking my chain?

I can't!
They're like two rectangular chovate biscuits (cookies to you) and they have some weird mousse cream type stuff between them (chocolate of course) and they're coared in chocolate.
Some are double coated, some are white chocolate, there is now peanut butter ones.
Google it, you'll see

ETA, the best way to eat them (and the only way I eat them) is to bite the shirt ends off and duck hot chocolate through it like a straw until its all melted and then shove it into your mouth

Hey Jes and Llama, look what I found! It's a small world after all!
From wiki:
Tim Tams went on to the market in 1964.[2][3] They were named by Ross Arnott, who attended the 1958Kentucky Derby and decided that the name of the winning horse, Tim Tamwas perfect for a planned new line of biscuits.[4]

Jes, in case you are saying "I don't get it!" Llama and I are from Kentucky - different areas though. I'm not a Derby history buff, so the name Tim Tam didn't mean much.

They do sound delicious, especially the way you eat them.

Some people suck port through them but I like my port not tainted by chocolate!!

But there you go!

Jes, the name has zero to do with Disney. It's a long and ultimately not very interesting story.

There's actually a street in my town called "Tim Tam Trail". It's in a neighborhood where all the streets are named after Derby horses. I live in the center of horse country...about a mile from a beautiful local racetrack.

So it's pure coincidence then! :-)

The area that I live in is called "Thoroughbred Country" and we have an estate that is named after Melbourne cup winners (and maybe famous horses in general)
