So, I am going to have some regular express passes that I won't need, and I know they are non-refundable. I have never bought these before, because we always stay at the onsite with the unlimited included. Is there a way to give these to someone else? What will I get when I go to the will-call kiosk to pick them up? Are they assigned to people at that point? Thanks

If you don't mind my asking, how did you end up with extra EPs? Were they part of your ticket package? A giveaway?

I'm not sure if they would be in your name only or could be transferrable, sorry. I would call guest services, and see if they have any ideas (though you might get conflicting answers from different workers...some issues come up so infrequently that there isn't really a set rule in place.)

Best of luck & sorry I couldn't help! Maybe someone else will be by that's done this before.

I went to buy unlimited EPs for opening weekend of Volcano Bay. I could only get regular EPs and not even as many as I needed. Yesterday, they released more unlimited EPs, so I bought what I needed. If I am out the money that's fine, I just thought it was a waste for someone else to not be able to use them.

When you purchased them, did you have to provide the names or other info about each individual guest? If so, I would say they are not interchangeable. If you just purchased a bulk of tickets with no names attached, I don't see why you could not share. How would they know if the person was part of your original party?

I bought them online. The only info I had to provide was my name, address, and credit card info. However, I bought more than one. I was never asked about names for the EPs. I know that I have to show up to the will-call kiosk with the purchasing credit card, but I have never picked anything up there. I am wondering if I will need to put in the names at the will-call kiosk.

So the separate purchase unlimited EPs also include VB?

Honestly i'd contact Uni. They know they said sold out one day and added more the next. I would call and it write and ask for an exception due to you thinking that sold out meant sold out.

The Volcano Bay Express Passes are completely separate from the normal park EPs. They only cover Volcano Bay. I could try contacting them. At this point, the money isn't a huge deal though. VB EPs are cheaper than the normal park EPs. I thought it might be some nice pixie dust for someone else, but I don't know how to go about it. Thanks

I called and without any argument or issues they gave me a refund. So, problem solved. :thanks:

Just saw this thread and planned to tell you call UO guest services

I did something similar before and had success like you did

UO has more of a personal touch with their guests

The tm supervisors listen and use common sense which usually benefits the consumer

So glad it turned out well for you

I remember the thread where you did buy the regular ep
Delighted for you that the unlimited ep released more later

Congrats on it being your lucky day!

I was very impressed with the customer service. I have heard people knock Universal's customer service, but we have always had great experiences, probably more frequently than we have had at WDW. We have had good experiences at WDW, but people have gone above and beyond more frequently at Universal.

Totally agree with you

With all the additional things added to
UO, do hope new staff follows the way it operate and now
