I needed to share my incredible experience this past weekend at Artist Point so that the DIS team will give this restaurant another chance! (*cough* Pete *cough*)

My fiancée and I celebrated our recent engagement with a 3 night get away at the Wilderness Lodge. The first night we had dinner planed at Artist Point, I was reluctant because of the reviews from the Dis, but boy am I glad I moved forward with our plans. We are annual pass holders and have had some great meals, but this tops my list. The cast members were super friendly, they even brought us campaign to celebrate our news of engagement. I got the Bison steak and my fiancée got the filet. The flavors were incredible and our waiter, Sean, was very attentive.

The DIS team needs to give this place another go! I highly recommend eating at Artist point!

I'm giving it another chance this October. I didn't hate it the first time but I had the scallops and they were absolutely tasteless. Going with the filet this time so hopefully I won't be disappointed. The cobbler and service saved my previous meal. Looking forward to it.

Everyone should stay far away from Artist Point (so that I can get a reservation every time)!!

I've only been there once, but the mushroom soup was amazing and the sugar free blueberry cobbler was one of the best sugar free things I've ever had!

We are going for our 15th anniversary! I had no trouble getting a good reservation at 166 days out, and we are on a special diet, so we plan to get the mushroom soup, the charcuterie, the chicken and Brussels sprouts, and the cheese plate for dessert. With wine!

I recommend the mushroom soup, the cedar plank salmon (Copper River if they have it), and the raspberry ice cream with the fruit cobbler.

I promise if you go there and order these three things, you'll be blown away. Just delicious food and the atmosphere is chill.

We ate there two weeks ago. We were celebrating our 42nd wedding anniversary and the staff was wonderful to us. They brought us some champagne and little treat for dessert. We had a delicious meal and enjoyed ourselves very much. :)

We just ate there about 2 weeks ago for the first time in a long time. Enjoyed it very much and I actually just ordered the smokey portobello mushroom soup (which is amazing!!! ...still!!) and a salad which was very unique and satisfying. My dd ordered 2 kids items as she is picky, picky but has an adult appetite (because she is an adult :rotfl2:)...but she didn't realize how big the kid's portions there are and better yet...that they make everything from scratch. She ordered the kid's pasta, yes, pasta from scratch - I ate some! And she ordered the chicken breast with potatoes which was excellent as well. Not sure why we hadn't gone back sooner but won't wait so long for our next visit!

I have an early dinner ressie for July 3! Then I'm hoping to get into MK for July 4th fireworks!

I'll be there on the 12th! I've gone back and forth on this one, on whether to cancel or not. But I think it'll be a good meal.

Artist Point is a wonderful, classy restaurant. We have really enjoyed dining there several times (without kids, lol)

I know what you mean. It's a big decision as it's a lot of money to put down on a meal and there is another Signature that I've always had a good meal at that I'm foregoing this trip to try this one. Also, I've already had it and cancelled it once then my plans changed and since I'm now staying at CCV so I decided to book it again. So for now I think I'll hold on to it and give it another try.

I had the filet when i went there....and OH MY GOODNESS, its one of the best filets i've ever had. Sooooo flavorful and tender, and it was cooked perfectly. I was in heaven. The service was spot on. The dessert....seriously delicious. Their presentation is out of this world too. The atmosphere is gorgeous. I highly recommend this place! :goodvibes

I will lose it if they ever get rid of the smokey portobello soup - it is worth the trip alone

Must comment... around fall, 2016, a new STUNNING General Manager came into AP. Happens to be someone we know, that worked in Citrico's, V&A, Narcoossee's.
Her greatest skill? SIG turnarounds. She has been, and still IS, VERY GOOD at this. Think "WDW bringing in the big guns" :).

Since this Manager's introduction? AP has done nothing but "get far better". The process continues, daily.

We've been to AP twice since this GM arrived. The changes are VERY positive.
All personal opinion - I'm not necessarily right, no one else is necessarily wrong.
