Give a day question

I am just sick! I just noticed that these give a day tickets have to be redeemed by Dec. 15! We have our trip planned for arrival on Dec. 20th! Can you redeem them by calling and purchasing extra tickets or even AP's or what? I am so upset by this! If anyone can give me advice I would really appreciate it!

Sorry that I have no good news for you. From the start of this promotion last January, it was set to expire prior to the Christmas Holiday rush. You will notice almost NO Disney promotions run during Christmas (why would they when they are overbooked at "premium" prices so as it is?)

So, I'm afraid that unless you can go early, you will be out your GAD promo tickets.

The people at Central Reservations/Disney Travel and at Ticketing have no access to the database which deals with Give A Day. These vouchers can only be redeemed at a WDW Park Entrance Ticket Window and the resulting tickets are valid for entry that day only. If not used on the day of redemption they become void and valueless. Ever since Day One everything has said that vouchers must be redeemed by December 15.

We were just so careful when reading it to make sure we were not going to be using it when it was not valid during certain dates, not til now did I see under our names where it said that! I am so upset! Guess I will learn to read things much better from top to bottom.

Reading this thread has me worried. I couldn't find the Give a Day voucher, and the original email link does not work, as the website has been taken down. I called the GAD customer service number last week, and gave my name, address, etc., and was told that Guest Relations in the parks could look up the information when I arrive tomorrow to use the GAD voucher.

Can anyone verify whether Guest Relations will be able to look up the information at the park or not? Thanks!

Yes we just got back and was also worried because we couldnt print the voucher. They can look it up by the phone number that you registered your give a day get a day under. We didnt have any problems. Have fun but dress warm its pretty chilly there.

Absolutely.

When I went in October, I left the voucher in the room. It cost me about 10 extra seconds for them to look it up.
