Me and 3 friends are planning a girl's long weekend in late April. Our resort choices right now are: Beach Club, FQ and offsite.

Beach Club for location
Offsite for $$$ (I'd rather stay in the bubble, though)
FQ because it's in the midrange price wise and we like the boat to Disney Springs.

Thoughts on which you pick?

We loved the Beach Club when we stayed there.

We don't care for the moderates - so I can't recommend POFQ.

Given the choice, I would always stay on property.

Not one of your choices but DW stayed at BWI earlier this year for a girls weekend trip. They loved the location for the nightlife/entertainment, walkability to Epcot, and proximity to good dining options. BC has very similar, if not identical benefits.

A lot of our booking motivations come down to location, location, location, so I think I’ll vote BC.

Have fun!

I can't say enough good things about Beach Club. The resort is gorgeous, the location is unbeatable, it's immaculate, and the service is wonderful. I loved every single thing about my stay there last week in the DVC Villas. Will definitely stay there again! I've stayed at French Quarter too, which is also nice, no complaints, but I felt more pampered at Beach Club.

I’d pick beach club every time. Steps from Epcot, great dining in that whole area, nighttime entertainment at boardwalk, great pool, fun bars within walking distance. Also the view of th boardwalk at night is pretty.

If you want to stay near Epcot but don't want to pay BC prices, you may want to check out the Swan/Dolphin.

Throwing a vote for the YC instead of BC, as a full balcony is a must for us. BC has less of a chance to get a full balcony.

We love the YC! Same lovely amenities as BC and great location.

My family has all stayed at FQ and really likes it. A very nice small resort, boat to DS and good food options.

POFQ. I know the location isn’t the best, but i love that resort.

French Quarter, last October was my girls trip and we chose FQ for all the reasons mentioned; boat to Disney Springs, small resort layout, saved $$ for other things, fresh beignets, and love the theme.

OKW is a good in between. Not as much as Beach Club. Step up from FQ and still has the boat to Springs!. Cool laid back atmosphere. Olivia's on site. Gurgling suitcase for whatever Ale's ya. I myself will pick French Quarter if I am staying mod, but always examine very hard the prices of OKW before doing business.

By the way, three of the girls in my life will be there the end of April for a girl's weekend (Mrs. Ally, My daughter Tink0812, and my grandtinker) staying value for the big eyes of a two year old!

I just reserved for my bachelorette weekend and I found answering these questions helped lead me to the right resort (we went with BWV):

- What do you plan to do during the day?
- What do you plan to do during the night?
- If there is downtime built in, what do you think your friends would like to do?
- How much time do you think you will actually spend at the resort, in the room?

Happy to discuss further if it's helpful!

Best wishes on the Wedding. Don't have to wish you anything on the bachelorette trip because I know you will have a great time at Disney. Live it up! pirate:

I was going to suggest OKW as well. It's a great place to hang out, nice quiet pool, fantastic little pool bar and restaurant, and the boat to Disney Springs for a ton of restaurants and nightlife.

I agree with a PP, what do you plan to do? Are you park heavy? Restaurants? Or nightlife?

I would check with the other girls and find out what budget they can be happy with. Also if you plan on staying in one room, there is an additional adult fee per night.

Beach Club because you can walk to two parks AND the boardwalk. Spend at least one night at JellyRolls!!!
