I plan to check out our local grocery (Cub Foods, they also own Albertson's so this deal might be in your area as well) this week they have buy $100 in gift cards get $20 coupon to use on groceries. Hoping they have Disney gift cards... doubtful but we shall see. :) I would be curious to hear if they have the same deal at Albertson's California locations and if it works on the Disneyland passes (sold with the gift cards).

Our Safeway has both cards and passes for Disney. The gift card promos here count the Disney gift cards, but exclude the park passes. They aren't gift cards, they are tickets. Oh well.

Question - A friend of mine is going to be at DL for Candlelight Processional. Has anyone here ever been? Do you have any tips or hints? She's pretty bummed that the Holiday tour was sold out for the days of their visit and she couldn't get Fantasmic seating either. Her birthday is Dec 5 and they were supposed to go for her birthday last year but got in a car accident (Her WHOLE FAMILY was in the car) - they were hit head on by a drunk driver, and their trip got cancelled. I'd like to give her some advice, but I've never been CP weekend. She will be there Dec 1-4.

How do you do that? Actually where is the recycle bin? I always thought that once something was deleted it was gone for good. You mean all my gossipy emails can be found again?:scared1::laughing:

:cloud9:

Well, hate to say it but yes! Almost anything can be retrieved. Says the girl who has had two hard drives wiped. I recovered nearly 20000 image files, which is what I was looking for.

More deals.. more free cards... :santa:
This is at Vista Print, but they are weird and don't show all the possible deals available. The ones I know about are likely through an affiliate link.. big no no here.. sooooooooooooo
Go check out this blog www.creativecouponing.com and she has a post titled

Too many good deals this month, too little money left! :sad2:

I have not heard of albertsons doing this in our area right now. Safeway is doing it but they have just a few of the gift cards participating and I don't want any of those. Albertsons is great and they usually have am/pm gas cards and who doesn't spend a fortune on gas, right? If I can get a$100 in free groceries then I am all for it!

Good morning, ladies! I hope all of you are doing well. So who's heading to the grocery store tonight or tomorrow to finish all their shopping for turkey day?
:yay: Me! I am. LOL There is always some ingredient I forget, so hopefully I will remember it all.

Speaking of remembering, I just wanted to remind everyone that the Christmas card sign-ups end tomorrow. So, if you've been toying with the idea of signing up, don't delay! Send me your address asap so I can add you to the list. Thanks!! :santa:

Have a great day, everyone. :)

Secondly, that PMs will be going out to all who have already signed up for the purple tees. I hope I have down all who were interested. :thumbsup2

If you did not receive a PM, that means you are not on the list. So make sure to let me know.

Mel: I need to confirm with Miss Sally and her friend to see if they want purple shirts!!!!!!!!!

Nothing for me to do to prep for Thanksgiving. I'll be home alone, sleeping! Gotta love retail. And the department I work means I go to work twice on Thursday. Fun times! Haha. Does anyone do Black Friday shopping?

I went today and it was a MADHOUSE. I know better than to go tomorrow <shudder>. Filled the car up with gas while I was out too. my plan is to be a laundry hermit tomorrow and not have to go ANYWHERE. LOL I've got "Taco Stew" in the crockpot and I'm pretty sure I've got EVERYTHING I will need for our turkey dinner on Saturday. Whatever I don't have is probably not getting purchased. LOL

We're not doing the Thanksgiving thing this year....seems really weird! Mike hasn't had any time off to help in the move, so he's off this whole weekend to do that. 2 of our boys weren't able to come down for dinner, so we decided just to work on the old place & get done with it......then we'll REALLY have something to be thankful for!! :rotfl: nah, we have lots of things to be thankful for....we'll just do a special dinner for Christmas & celebrate both holidays!!

Our new place is AWESOME!! We had new neighbors help us empty the moving truck the day we moved in & have had 2 other families stop by & bring our family a dessert!!

We started church on Sunday, & found out the owners of the home we're in were members at this church....so everyone knows them, the house & how excited that family was when we moved in~~~~small world or divine intervention!

The kids are loving their new school & Anthony starts basketball next week & Addy started ballet last week. The twins will probably start up at their new preschool next week.

Happy Happy!! And to top it off......I'll be in DL in 2 weeks!!!!! :woohoo:

I was all ready for Thanksgiving but the guest list keeps growing so now I have to go back to the store tonight. Last night I found out my DH's sister and her 3 kids and 1 grandkid are coming. Today Sarah told me her and her DB are bring 2 people. That's 22 in all. I've never had this many people over before and have no idea where everyone will sit. As long as I get a place at the table they can sit on the floor.:rotfl:

We had 25 people 2 yrs ago......maybe that's why the thought of doing a big dinner is not interesting me :confused3 lol It was fun having that many family members together at one time.....have a good dinner!!

Noelle and I usually hit Kohls and Target, but this year I'm just not feeling it, so who knows. :confused3

What's taco stew? Sounds good!

I always say that I'm going to skip it, but then we never do. lol

Wow, you will have a full house. When we lived in MI for some reason my house was always the "go to" place for the holidays. I'd cook Thanksgiving for between 22-25 people for the three years we lived there. So when we first moved here, I guess I was in the habit of going big! But since it was just the 6 of us, we ended up with way too much food. I mean, just massive amounts of left overs, so I sent it with Ruben to work the next day. We never would have finished it all.

What time does Kohls open at this year?

To be honest, I wish I could go shopping on Black Friday. It's fun for me and that's even with this being my 7th year working it on the retail end. I've never actually got to do the early morning shopping though and I just wish I could. Phooey.

Thanks. I'm actually forward to it since our family gatherings are usually small. Plus my sister, brother and neices are bringing some of the food. I only have to do the turkey, ham and yams.

Oh that's good.....when we hosted we cooked everything! Mike's the cook in the house & he ended up working 10-7 the Weds before Thanksgiving, so most of the cooking ended up in my lap!! :scared1: I can cook....I just don't like to & cooking for that many people made me nervous!!! But it all worked out & everyone seemed happy!

I do I do! Target is the one store I will camp out for (last year in my sleeping bag, with beanie, jacket, book, flashlight and hot chocolate!) afterwards I hit up Kohls, Toy's r Us, and occasionally Wal Mart, but I hate how they place palets at random and you have to be lucky to be in the right area. My big thing this year is getting the iTouch at Target for my older son. Other than that, most of the stuff I am picking up is for around the house since the deals are so good. We may aim for a smaller tv for the bedroom this year - it all depends on if we get lucky or not.

Laurie~ How sweet of your new neighbors to help you and bring you treats. I hope the good will continues.

Just a quick hi from me .

I hope everyone has a nice Thanksgiving. If it were up to me, I'd just go to a restaurant :rolleyes1. I'm really looking forward to my 4 1/2 days off though :yay:.
