OMG I think I may be the first one to post on the new thread!! YAY!! I wanted to check it earlier but the stupid servers wouldn't let me get on and then now I finally was able to.

Beth Thanks so much for this and YIKES about your cruise. That is one of the main things I have been nervous about. I get motion sickness and I have been lucky in recent years to not have it as bad flying but I got it the worst on a fishing boat although I have been on several ferries and other types of boats and knock on wood haven't gotten sick but I, like you, was scared that if I got ON the boat and then got sick that I would be STUCK there!! EEK! I sure hope that we don't have that problem!!! I am glad though that for our frist cruise it is a short one so just in case!! We don't leave till monday night and are only gone really Tues wed and Thur because it gets back Friday at 8 so we shall see!

By the way have they decided about a time and meeting place for CoD or are we just meeting at Big Thunder Ranch? Since we aren't doing the lunch I will need to know where, when and how to hook up with Jill. Shane's plane gets in to LAX at 10:30 so I am hoping, barring any issues, that he should be to the parks by noonish. So hopefully there should be no problems about us going. The ONLY way we wouldn't be able to is if he doesn't get there in time to take over the girls but I REALLY hope he does cuz that is one of the things I am really looking forward to!!

I have to admit too though that I am really jealous about the M&G and scavy hunt and of course just hanging with everyone since I know we won't be able to make it next year but I am glad for what I can get and look forward to seeing everyone that I can!!

I wouldn't worry about your cruise. I'm sure it will be fine! Keep in mind this was 19 or 20 years ago. Hopefully now the ships are bigger, better, and the medicine should be stronger.


As far as I know, there was no set time for CoD. I do believe that several of the ladies will be at the BBQ so they may just meet up there. I would suggest the driver of each car pick a time to meet their passengers, print out directions to the store, and then everyone meet in the CoD parking lot, rather than trying to caravan with all these cars. Once all 9 cars have arrived, everyone can go in with Jill.
That's what I'd do. But then again, I'm not going so....

No, you can still feel it! I don't get motion sickness so it doesn't bother me, but I'm a light sleeper and I swear the ship was rocking soooo much, I thought I was going to fall out of the bed. It's at it's worse when leaving Long Beach and coming back. I'm not sure when it got better, but I'm sure we were already past Ensenada???
