Storytellers sounds great! I voted for Lilo and Stitch, 'cause I've never tried that one. But not having to walk all the way to Paradise Pier in the morning seems like a good thing :) And I love GCH!

My DH is going to another one of those "boys" trips next weekend -- to Reno this time. I think this might be a good time to let him know I'm going back to DL with the ladies! :rotfl:

I know they have sugar-free (but it's maple too) because my tummy can't take the regular stuff. Not sure about other flavors.

It has been so windy here the last few days.

Notre Dame/UW game, its my DBFS birthday present. (I am COUG)
 
ok--so had to share. I participate in this football pool thingie. Now keep in mind I know NOTHING about any of the teams--so far this year I've won once, have been tied for first three times (including tonight if NY wins) and am in third place overall for the season. Boy oh boy--the boys in the pool are NOT happy!!!!!!

I just got back from Ohio. My dad is doing great following his peripheral artery bypass surgery. Home in four days and already pretty ambulatory (he is 78!!!!!!).

I spent 6 days in dial-up Hades!!! I have been lucky to never do the aol dial up thing, and holy cow:scared1: not good. I spent a lot of time clearing all the spy ware and all from the parental computer. Don't think my mom gets how to update/scan despite the three tutorials and written instructions including diagrams.

I also did a lot of furniture moving, toting of large/heavy items up and down the stairs. It stinks to be so far from my folks. They need some help!!!

On an up note, I got an invite to the Tinkerbell preview!!! Oh,. big hurrah, and I think we might actually go.

Have fun at the mini meet, because, IT IS ALL GOOD!!!!!

I don't know how I ever did dial up for so long :confused3 I could never go back.

To bad you won't be at the mini meet. Just means you need to make up for lost time when we go in March is all.

Amy, glad to hear that you're dad is recovering so quickly! If he's already up after 4 days and continues taking care of himself, I have a feeling he's going to live really LOOOOOOOOOOOONG. :goodvibes

Oh and quick question about swimming, how DO you do it? I did 30 minutes today and I'm exhausted! I've forgotten how to swim correctly. :lmao:

I know, I wish I could come. My DD8 has a half day Friday, otherwise I would be really tempted to run up for 5-6 hours and come home for dinner. But seems a bit cruel to leave her on the playground in rahter limited joy-after-school-care while I visit Mickey!!! But, I might get a whim.

I almost wish a half hour of swimming would wear me out!! I have been swimming so long, and my stroke is so conservative, that I run out of time before I run out of wind!! If I wasn't such a comfortable swimmner, I would work a lot harder, and my pants wouldn't hurt!! I only do 17-18 strokes per 25 yards, just pull really hard, and so don't really get that much of a work out!! Sad, really. I swim 40 lengths without stopping and my heart rate is way up there, at 124!!!:confused3 :) Obviously, I need to do more sprinting. I swim a mile in thirty minutes....should push myself, but get in the meditative zone..splash splash splash, breathe!!

But, to get better, just go more, I floundered and gaped like I was dying when I started back. I'd swim a 25 and cling to the edge huffing and puffing. Now, I just swim. ONe day, the rhythm will be back, and it will feel right!!!

Oh, and I envy you working at the Disney Store. I was thinking about seeing if I could work there part time for fun, but then was offered to work an additional 10 hour day at my current job and the $$$$$ won out!!
