Just so y'all know that I'm not avoiding the subject altogether (well, actually I am) -- I HATE Tie-Dye. No really, I HATE it. But I'll be a good sport and wear whatever y'all pick and won't pipe in with a preference cuz I think they're all butt-ugly.

Don't worry, I despise tie dye too! It's just easier to go with the flow, even if it is the tie dye flow.

Honestly has never wore a tye dye anything in my life.
I honestly won't get one of the tye dye shirts.
Not to be unkind, I simply know that I would feel uncomfortable wearing it.
I feel I can speak freely amongst friends here and that vulnerability be understood and respected.

Actually, I'm pretty much done dealing with the tees. If someone else wants to take over, feel free. Otherwise, we can just skip them this time around. It's too much hassle to find one we all agree on and it's too hard to get opinions from everyone.

Maybe one day we can just make it "Mickey tee day" where each person wears a tee with Mickey on it. Any Mickey, just as long as it has a Mickey. We won't all be matching but it would certainly be easy.

Just a thought. Like I said, I'm done with the tees. It's a hassle I don't need right now.

Oh, man do we have to!!! (said in the whiniest 12 year old girl voice I could muster!) I REALLY have a fear of looking like a linebacker in bright colors. It ranks up there with my fear of death on space mountain. I understand wanting to do lime green though. At least I'll look like I belong on the team....even if I am the linebacker and not the tall skinny quarterback!

I nominate Callie to be our tall, skinny QB! Anyone wanna 2nd the vote?

I saw that thread, I do tend to believe it. I was at a water park once and distinctly remember getting splashed and a couple drops went in my ear. The next day I had the worst earache!! Ended up having to have my ears irrigated!!!

I have gotten it in my mouth...which just might explain a few things....

Not totally on board for hats. I don't do well and will end up with hat hair.

Why not... if we're going to go for it, we might as well go for it! I've always secretly wanted the sequined mouse ear headband with the veil (either the white or the pink and purple will do)!

As for shirt colors, I am partial to pink and green together, but as long as we are all in it together I am up for most anything!

We have those ears, or I should say my DD does, they're really cute!

Now I've been sucked into looking at tees and reading that Merry Eats thread......

That one looks good, just different colors.

I am on call the weekend of the 4th, but not the weekend of the 18th, so let's do the 18th! Woooooohooooooo for girl time!

The more I look at this tee, the more I like it. Maybe in a softer pink and a light green (similiar to lime green)? What do ya'll think??

But that is easily solved.

1. Some get them, Some don't.
2. We have a Mickey T shirt day.
3. Everybody design their own disboard girls trip t-shirt
4. Borrow some of the new fairy costumes i hear they are cute
5. Talk about it, cuz we still have 3 months left.

Why don't we just put it on the back burner till after Christmas. Everyone will be fresh and ready to think again.

I think at one time, I offered to make up a t-shirt with a castle on it. My son has offered to do the design. He does ads for part of his job. He can draw very good. Once that is done, I would post it for you guys to see. Then somehow, it would be nice for you guys to order it, and then I could send it to you, if you would like to embellish it if you like. That is what I want to do to it. Lots of glitter and rhinestones. If you don't like that idea, then leave it plain.

Any thoughts?

I leave in one week for a family trip with 3 grandchildren and 3 great grand parents..what was my husband and i thinking..

I'm with Melody.. let's wait until after christmas to work on the t shirt.

I've loved the blinged out castle design since Melody first spoke of it.

It like the Tinkerbelle design can be ironed on ..i believe.. please correct me if i'm wrong.. happens all the time.

That would allow people to select the size of shirt they wanted in person rather than buying one over the internet and not knowing for sure if they were buying the actual size they needed or perhaps getting barbie doll sized shirts.

Now as for the tees......can we all just go topless?? It would be easier.

Well, I think we have all agreed on the Tink tee, correct? And we have two options for that:
1. print out the image and iron it on at home
OR
2. order a tee from Zazzle using that same Tink (remember we found her there?)

So assuming that is all still true, then we have one tee already. I thought we were just looking for a second tee. And I thought ordering from an online website would make it easier on everyone. That way not one person has to be in charge of taking the orders and shipping out or bringing and passing out the tees.

Melody, I think it's nice of your son to offer to do that. Really sweet. And if you want to do that, then that's fine. You know me, I'm easy!! LOL
I was just trying to find a website to order from to keep any ONE person from having to do all that work, especially when it's not always easy to reach all the ladies on the list signed up to go to see if they want a tee or not. kwim?

I'm not a huge fan of those bright tye die tees myself, but if that's what the group overall agreed on then of course I'd buy one and go with the flow. But it's not like I had my heart set on those. It was just another option.
Same with the idea of each of us just wearing a white Mickey tee on the same day. Just another option.

We can keep throwing out ideas. And if in the end we can't agree and don't have a second tee, or any tees at all, I'm ok with that!! Seriously, I just want to be there and have fun with everyone!! Is it March yet???

Anyway we do the shirts is fine with me. I like the Tinkerbell one, and the fact that we can each pick a white shirt and iron it on (hey, Heather, we could do that when you come here the night before!! Sound like a plan? And maybe Callie could come over!! Sleepover??)

I happen to like tie-dye shirts, guess I'm just a hippie at heart But whatever the group decides is fine with me, I'm pretty laid back about most things, usually.

I mean, I have enough Disney clothes in my closet to last 2 weeks at the parks without wearing something twice. Can't we just do a new Dis-Divas lanyard for this year (and I'll even volunteer to print those and try to get some new ones for the newbies) and that will be a way to identify us?

Why don't we make it easy and do the iron on's for both shirts.
Then people can pick the shirts out they want themselves.
Easy Peasey.
If someone needs help printing the iron on..they can ask a friend on the board.
If someone wants to decorate theirs more..they can do it the night of the pizza party.
Simple and Fun.

Hey, I am ALL for one tee. I have a few tees I bought on sale at the Disney store that I can wear. So I don't need another.

And I LOVE the idea of a new lanyard! So much easier. So, I second that idea!!
