I hope you are all having a nice morning so far. My kids are home and it's been a lazy morning around here which I like.


Donna, I'm glad to hear you are feeling better. Good news!


Melody, so the team names will have a pirate theme to them? Fun!! Do we get to pick our own names? Do you have a guess as to when teams will be announced? Is Friday still the sign up deadline? Am I asking to many questions and annoying you?


Heather, I think POTC would be ok. I'd ride it. Heck, I rode Splash, but I wouldn't recommend that. lol My thoughts and prayers are with you right now. Dreams like that are scary, but they aren't real.


Kelly, glad to hear your mom is caving a bit and going to join in the pajama fun. It will be fun once everyone is there. kwim? You can't help but get caught up in the excitement.

Daisy, be sure to go to the Disneyland site, and look up the tickets. They just came out with their winter deals. You pay for the kid's price. How many days are you going to be here? When is your departure time? This will help us help you.

I edited my post to say that I am coming into the Orange County airport (SNA) on wednesday at 6:35 pm. I will be leaving out of the same airport at 2:15 on Tuesday.

I will take a look at the tickets this afternoon.

I just got Meghan on the bus for school. She had a 2 hour late start. I now have to go get Donovan from preschool. Not much free time for myself today!

The muscle relaxers knocked me out last night. I did not wake up with as much of a headache this morning. I hope that after taking them for a few nights this headache thing goes away.

It was either come in the night before or not make the PJ party...

The flight the next morning was at 7:30 am and it would be really hard for hubby to get me to the airport that early with 2 kids. So, then I wouldn't have gotten into SNA until 6:35 pm on Thursday. Please let me know if anyone will be coming in early. Thinking about going into the parks on Thursday morning.

Yes that's a really good deal. I'm planning on getting that ticket as well. My military discounted ticket isn't as good as this deal.

If we have 5 people, it's the same price for the SS as for the DE ($16/person round trip). Theresa, didn't you do the DE? How did you like it??

I forgot to watch The Price is Right!! BUT, I looked on the PIR website and they have full episodes, up through yesterday, so I'm thinking they'll have it on there tomorrow!! YAY! Did anyone else watch it today??

OOOHHH the pirate theme sounds fun for the hunt .

I just booked a Disney cruise on the new Dream ship coming in 2011. I had a $1000 credit through DCL otherwise I wouldn't have booked yet. I probably should've booked the Wonder when it comes to California & save on airfare, but I much prefer the Caribbean & I love Castaway Cay. I'm also very excited to see the new ship . Only 499 days to wait!!

Do you all think I'll be able to ride POTC? I'm thinking the drops aren't that bad, but don't want to do anything harmful. I think I'll sit out TSMM, I'm not sure all the spinning is a good idea. Just some random thoughts about the rides and what I'll do...

I think you should be fine on POTC. Like Beth, I round Splash when I was 7 months pregnant (also some other rides I probably shouldn't of in my 1st trimester . Bad Katie ).

Well you might get number 4 soon. I was just checking flights for me, and it looks like the best available flight is departing Spokane at 5:00am (which is sucky!) and landing at SNA at 11:20am.

I hate early morning flights like that because then you're tired all day.

Aren't you getting in an hour later though? I guess I'm lost. It's my trip, but I have no clue what I'm doing! However, if you're not checking bags, we might end up leaving around roughly the same time since I will have to check bags. It will work out somehow though, there's no need for you to have to travel alone.

Stacie mentioned the DLE to me last night, but I don't get why it's better than the super shuttle. Can anyone clue me in? Is it a more direct trip to the Hojo's? I just figured if we don't make the limit of 5, we can just use the SS again. It seemed perfectly fine to me last year.

I have booked my flight on southwest. I am coming in Wednesday night at 6:35. So if anyone is in town already, please let me know. This is my first time out there and I will be so lost!

I still need tickets for the parks...just need to figure out how many days I need.

Yes, the teams will be making up their own names. So get your thinking caps on. You have a while to figure out some fun names to suggest when your teams are made up.

The scavvy committee, decided to make the deadline for signups the first part of January. That gives most of us here the time to make sure that we can come. Also there are some ladies who are MIA, that need to see all the stuff that is going on around here. I know you mentioned January, and Kerri came to mind too.

I also wonder what happened to Christine, and some of the others. How about Pixiewings too?

Yep, we did the DLE and I like it a lot better than the shuttles - more comfy, not so scary driving (and bouncing around on broken springs....). PLUS we got it for $11/each way pp through GAT

I've done both and I seriously prefer the DLE. When I took SS (mind you, it was me so not filling the shuttle on my own ) we had pick up other people that were not on a route, per say, but way the heck out of the way and therefore adding mucho time to the trip (this happened both times I took the shuttle!). Also I found the SS drivers to be way too skeery for me driving-wise. Talking on a phone, cutting people off, etc. Nearly fainted! The bus just seems easier for me plus it's more comfy
