Quick drive-by hi from me today. I've been trying to catch up on my life, and I think I'm finally on the tail end of this head cold I've had since the mini meet. I hope you are all doing well. I'll try to read back tonight.

No, He's not *My* Bob!

There's other women in this thread with Bob's!

I have one of those Bob's...I'm beginning to see a trend and believe men with the name Bob are just wonderful men!!:goodvibes

I have been trying to follow along....looks like everyone had quite the time at the mini meet. I was at home with Dd and a fever.

Halloween was fun...got 2 whole trick or treaters.

AmySue

I wore the Minnie hat you gave me in our exchange on Halloween handing out candy to trick or treats and we had A LOT! It was fun!

We usually just take the 101 to the 5. But we always ALWAYS hit some kind of traffic in LA. I guess that’s expected. We went through the 118 the other day to go to Bakersfield, then to the 5 (but northbound) and we were wondering if it would be quicker to go that route than the 101. I mapquested it and the estimated time is the same, maybe 10 minutes longer. We have been just avoiding the mornings when we leave for DL and leave in the afternoon and we seem to avoid most traffic. But we passed through Simi and it made me think of you and how you guys get there!! :)

:rotfl:

I don't think you can avoid that traffic in LA on the 5 regardless of what freeway you take to get there. :sad2: We don't rush out in the mornings either and stay late to avoid the traffic as well.

Did you honk and wave at the Sterns exit when you drove through Simi??? If you did then I heard you. ;)

Have a great day wonderful Divas and Prince GrandBob!!!

25 years next Feb, and people still mistake us for newlyweds.

-Bob
Awww, how sweet. :goodvibes

By the way, I'm jealous of your location. I grew up in SoCal and love the CA coastline. I'm in Las Vegas now and I miss it very much.

Maybe GrandBob can be our mascot!!
Well, he'll need a costume. You're the crafty one. Any ideas?

Good luck working all those hours!! :wizard:

I went in to work yesterday and about lunch time I started feeling really crummy.
 Feel better Kelly.

Kelly, I think I have what you have, except that I had chills too.
:sad2: So much illness going around! Take care Tracey. Hope you feel better soon.

Good morning ladies!! Or almost afternoon. Hope you are all having a good day so far. It was rough getting the kids off to school today after a four day break, but we managed. Actually the did fine, I was the one who didn't want to get up. :rolleyes1
Luckily it's a short week.

TTYL!! :hippie:

I just wanted to check in after my birthday trip to DL.

As you can see the park was nowhere near as crowded as the whole month of October has been. I didn't do much rides. I waited in the City Hall line for about five minutes and got my fun card. I spent my time leisurely walking through the stores seeing if anything caught my fancy. I got a FP for HMH hoping to see the monkey bride. I think because Space Mt was closed a lot of people went to BTMRR. It was packed! Or it broke down but I didn't bother waiting in line.

From there I went to DCA and got a corn dog. It was delicious. I then got my first margarita on the pier. It was yummy!

I just walked around the park and went back to P.T Flea's store and bought two pins. One is Princess Tiana from the Princess in the Frog and the other is a discounted 2009 one for trading.

I went back to Disneyland to ride HMH and I didn't see the monkey bride. It's okay because I have faith! I'll be there next week so I'll try again.
And it seems that Jack Skellington has been around the whole park. You enter the main gates and the pumpkins are still up, you walk down mainstreet and head to NOS where the Christmas decorations are up. Which is it?! lol. At DCA they have the candy corn acres but heading past a Bug's Land you see the giant ornament and candy canes. On the pier you see a big Christmas tree.

Because my new phone changes timezones on a whim (I really don't get that!) I saw my phone and it said 6:15 and I thought I better leave so I'm not late meeting up with my roommate for dinner. Well after walking out, taking the tram, and getting in my car I see that the time is now 5:45pm. Oh well. I stopped at Party city for margarita cups and mix and then got ice from Wal-mart. I also bought DDR 3 from Target so we would have a new game and two mats to play.

Sadly I forgot my one working remote at home so we couldn't play. Also the wii wasn't recognizing the new disk so I'm going to return it this week.

That's all! I fell asleep after watching The Big Bang Theory and Lie to Me.

Stopping by just to say hi!!!

Entire family down with the swine flu....will check back when I'm feeling better.

Cristabel, sounds like you had a nice time. :goodvibes

Laurie, I'm so sorry to hear that. Hang in there and I hope everyone is better soon!!

Hi Guys!! My son was over today and gave me some of the images I wanted him to work on. NOW, these are all very ruff drafts to start with. I'm sorry but you are going to have to click on the address in order to see what they are. Sorry about that, but I couldn't get them to come up here.

The one with the DL castle inside of the Mickey ears, is an image from the 60's I believe.......even down to the colors of the castle. Pinks and purples. The original image does not have the Mickey ears around it. We can go with that too, if you don't like the ears. I thought it might cool to glitter certain parts of the castle.

The second one, is with the castle in different colors. Any colors we want. We can glam that one up too.

THe third one is the crown with Mickey ears in it. The image can be shrunk down to a smaller crown. My idea for this shirt was for the crown be outlined in glitter, and the mickey ears be in rhinestones.

I have one more that Derrick is working on. For some reason, this is my favorite. Very modern, and the logo was designed in 1956. (My birth year) :rolleyes1 Anyways it is different, maybe too much so........I don't know? It's sort of like Picasso, or Maitisse. I'm having him add a few more touches to it before you see it.

Remember, this is just a ruff start. Anything can be changed.

When all is done, you guys can take a vote or if you don't like any of them, that is OK too.

Here is the image site.

I can't see them either.

I know I've already seen them and all, but still.

I'm really excited to see that 4th one!

I can't see them either. All that comes up is a page to sign in to Google Docs. :confused3

I can't see them either - just the login for Google documents.... Maybe you can put them in a photobucket account and then you can show them in the thread, unless you don't mind handing out your password :rolleyes1

I can't wait to see them!!! And I saw the words glittery and I happen to have some fabric glitter sitting right here, waiting............. :woohoo:

Laurie I'm sorry to hear the whole family has the flu now. :( I was wondering why I hadn't seen you on FB much today. :( Hope you all are feeling better soon!

Still really up in the air for the February trip. Fingers crossed I can make something happen.

All is ok here. I've been pretty sick with sinus issues. These things just really knock me on my butt!!!!

Hugs to all those who are sick, being sick is no fun.

Little Spike so just the custest thing ever. Breezy is going to post some pics on FB for me. He's sitting on my lap purring right now. I don't know why his previous owners couldn't keep him, but their loss is our gain. I love him.:cloud9:

Melody, I can't see any pictures either!

That's what I think too! Oh well, traffic is okay for Disneyland!!

From there I went to DCA and got a corn dog. It was delicious. I then got my first margarita on the pier. It was yummy!
