We had a great Halloween here. My dad came over to go Trick or Treating with my kids. I only saw him on weekends growing up and never did that with him so it's great. Then we walked up to my DH's parents house where my Mom also met us, along with my 18yr sister, her bf and my 16yr old brother. They're a little old to Trick or Treat but since they have my kids with them it's all good!

Happy birthday Linda!!!!! You deserve a special day all to yourself.

I'm hoping I can do the stocking exchange. I will discuss it with DH this week.

I love the talk about the trip. It will be here before we know it, especially now that we are entering the holiday season!

I've been doing well. I'm trying to decide what I want to do for Christmas cards this year. I need to get a photo appointment scheduled soon, but I don't know what I want to do.

Good evening girls!
I arrived to my dorm about 30 minutes ago and just finished unpacking my stuff. I brought my Wii but I forgot the control! It's okay because we can still play DDR since I remembered the mat.

I went to put away my clean clothes in my room and I found this awesome sight

Even though she is sick with a terrible cold, my roommate Lisa decorated my room for me. She's so sweet!

I was bummed about having to go to classes tomorrow since it was my birthday and I couldn't be with my family but my other roommate Beth and her friend Kelsey said they want to buy me dinner. So they're doing that for me and since I'm in an "Under 21" apt I can't bring any alcohol, I'm going to make virgin Margaritas. It'll be a little party

I won't have my first drink until next weekend. The plan is for me, Diana, Tyrae, Sergio (my cousin) and Daniela (his fiance) to go to Dave & Buster's next Sunday. That way I'll have a DD (Tyrae doesn't drink) and we'll have games to play!

Hope everyone has a lovely night, I'm off to study for my econ quiz and test. I also have to catch up on reading for accounting class.

First off Happy belated birthday Linda! I hope you had a GREAT day yesterday and did something really fun!!

Happy 21st Cristabel! I KNOW you are going to have a blast next weekend and that was REALLY sweet of your roommate! Enjoy!

Sounds like everyone had a fun and exciting weekend/halloween! Now back to reality for a bit and on to Thanksgiving planning next!

I went to Truckee with mom yesterday and it was SO nice up there. In the mid 60's and a perfect day. It was a nice drive up there and no snow up there yet but it was beautiful. Unfortunately there was a TON of dead deer on the roads which was very sad. I think they are coming down from the mountains for water and getting hit. But once we got to the unit it was really dead. Never did have any customers but mom and I played Gin and talked more about next year. She has that two weeks for her timeshare but she is STILL wanting to do a cruise and NOW she is thinking she wants to go to DW for only 2 days and do a cruise if we can find a cheap one. We have found ones for as cheap as 199 per person at THIS time of year so she thinks we might be able to do that NEXT year. We never did get to take a trip together this year since as some of you may remember she didn't get to go to DC with us so she still really wants to take a trip with the girls. I don't know WHAT is going to happen but as of now we are talking about going back Oct 28th next year and doing a day at IOA to see the new Harry Potter area and then prob 1 day at Epcot to see the food and wine and then the rest of the time on a RC cruise. I would LOVE to do a Disney one but they are SO expensive and you can get REALLY good deals on RC. So we shall see. I've never been on a cruise and would LOVE to go and if she's paying I'm not going to say no

I'm also not getting my hopes up though either cuz things have a way of not happening. She DOES need to use her timeshare weeks though and I am torn. I would REALLY love to go back and go to DW and go to Mickey's Halloween party and see the American Idol Experience at MGM and ride Exp Everest again since it was new to us last time but I would also like to take a cruise. Who knows. Everything is up in the air.

Shane and I and the girls were planning our big road trip this summer but that was ONLY if he was working as an electrician by then but it is taking him a LOT longer to start. We thought he would be doing it by now but he doesn't even take his test for his contractors license till the end of Nov and then I don't know how much longer after that IF he even passes the first time till he can start working. Plus I told him I don't know if his partner is going to be too gung ho about him taking a 2 week long road trip when they are JUST starting their business. Not to mention we need to have time to save up the money and I don't think I am going to get as big a refund this year. SOOO somehow I doubt that trip is going to happen. So that is another reason I hope next october works out but who knows.

And then my mom REALLY wants to try to go back to Europe in August of 11 but that is a HUGE dream. It is SO expensive so something is REALLY going to have to change for THAT to happen. I have only been once when I was 16 and really want to go back and want to take the girls but I just don't know. It is SO expensive and if you are going to go you really have to go for at least 3 weeks to see everything. So who knows. We can dream though!

Anyway those are my dreams for now! It's fun to dream right!

Today I am off to work and then nothing else going on except just DWTS and Heroes tonight.

I am anxious to watch V tomorrow night! Anyone else planning to watch? Nothing else much going on this week or for the next few weeks so I am looking forward to just some relax time. The only thing we MAY do is try to see Christmas Carroll this Sunday! We shall see.

Drove to DL fairly early to get my $72 giftcard. Rode Buzz, ate a corn dog, took the monorail to DTD (that's where I parked) and left. It was very hot and crowded when I left at 11:30 am.

Then Chris, Bree & I went to the Humane Society and got a new kitty. His name is Spike and he is soooo cute! I will post pix later.

Then we had dinner at PF Changs. Everything was really tasty and the service was excellent. Breezy & I finished the evening off with a bottle of Rosa Regale and watched Desperate Housewives (this show is getting dumb).

Now it's Monday, ugghhh.

Ooohh what did You get at PF Changs? I love their Kung Pao Scallops.. without the nuts.. they are soooo Delicious! Maybe we will take my parents there this week. Once a week we take them out to eat.
