Morning Divas! Hope everyone is having a better day today!

We had a pretty good day yesterday! Girls won their soccer game 2-0 and then we went to sam's and got all our stuff and they had steaks on sale so we got some and our bbq is out of propane but I broiled them and they were yummy. I also made french bread and rice and corn. It was GOOOOD! Then we had a Disney movie night. We watched Mary Poppins and Toy Story 1 and 2. It was fun. Katy even got some popcorn out of the pantry and we had popcorn. It was really fun! Much better day!

Beth those drinks sure look great and I totally agree! I think sometimes we all need a good stiff drink! Too bad I don't drink!

Maybe I could drink a virgin and PRETEND it was loaded LOL!

Deb good luck with your situation as I DEF can relate and Wendy ((hugs)) I am sorry you had a bad day! Hope things are better for you today!

I am looking forward to today!

We are off to church and then up to Apple Hill! That is ALWAYS fun! Then we have to run to the reg grocery store and get the little leftover stuff we couldn't get at sam's and then that's bout it. Then tonight it is just AR and EHM! Just have to get through 1 full week next week and then only part of the next and we are outta here! Woo Hoo! Can't wait!

This afternoon my dog, Osita, got out yet again. My dad pursued her on foot and by car. She just kept running too fast for anyone to catch her. She ran so fast down our street onto a major street and was hit, and killed, by a car.

God has reasons for everything.

Sorry for your loss. I know how hard it can be when we loose a pet so tragically.

I hear ya - of course, you and I were perfect teens, it's only this generation that has issues, right? I could tell you a few stories about my little angel that would make your eyes bulge and jaw drop, but she turned out fine, so know that this too, shall pass. Empathy and hugs to all those who have teens now.

Its jsut Grid Kids and they have been playing since August. And it is now getting pretty flippen cold around here!! So I am thankful that it is over!

I hope everyone is having a lovely Sunday afternoon.

I was dreading this morning because I had to tell Diana, my older sister, about what happened to Osita. We cried, hug, cried some more and we are now moving along in the grieving process. I like to remember the good times we had with Osita and also the times she drove us crazy.
We just have to stay positive and keep moving forward

I'm back and trying to recupe and catch up! We had such a good time. We stayed at the Mandalay Bay where the car auction was. I love that hotel!! Our husbands were glued to the auction for 3 days, and my girlfriend and I shopped, layed by the pool and read. Gottta love it. We staked out spots by the lazy river and watched everyone float by. What fun to people watch. Oh and guess what I finally read? Twilight!! Yep....it was good. Now I am on to the next one.
Loved the "Lion King" of course!! We ate too much, and have decided that eating out in Vegas is no longer a bargain!!

Beth- I'm sorry it didn't work out. I'm glad you are feelling better.

Cristabel- I am so sorry about your puppy Osita.

I didn't take many pictures last weekend since I did the Photopass, but I did find a couple of cute tie dye t-shirts.

This was at the Biergarten and my flight of beer, then at Mickey's Philharmagic.

Not sure why they all came out different colors, I took them the same way just a few seconds apart. Weird!

Love this pics!

I finally saw the fireworks on Friday.....and WOW! THey were soooooo great. We got great seats on a bench right by the partners statue.

Meloday I am so glad you had fun in Vegas! You deserve it! I can't WAIT to see you again in 2 weeks my TOT ride buddy! You and your daughter will have to ride with our group! It will be fun!

Cristabel I am so sorry about you having to deal with all this. I have lost several pets over the years and know how terribly hard it is. ((hugs))

I didn't do too well with my workouts last week so I am hoping to get off my butt and get motivated to do it this week! I KNOW I need to just do it but the motivation def is not there. I won't even go NEAR a scale either cuz I know I will be skeered! One of these days though I know I will get my butt in gear and get back on the wagon I just need to get that kick. But anyway I am hoping to do some workout today and hopefully the rest of the week and then I have work today. This big storm we are supposed to have is supposed to start rolling in today. Tomorrow is supposed to be UGLY. Lots of rain and wind. Don't think we will be having soccer tomorrow night and I told Shane even if coach is crazy enough to want it I won't be sending the girls cuz I don't want them getting sick right before our trip!

I am hoping they FINALLY get their school pics back this week. It has been a month this week and usually we get them back in 2 weeks so we shall see! I am anxious to see how they turned out. Plus I STILL don't know if we are having a Girl Scout meeting friday or not but regardless I know the girls are going to spookarama on the 30th so at least they will get to do SOMETHING!

Tonight we are going to mom's to watch football and she is going to cut the girls hair so they look halfway decent for the trip! I will be anxious when the 10 day weather comes out for anaheim so I can start packing. I am at a loss as to what to pack. Not sure if it is going to be warm or cold!

Getting REALLY excited. Can't wait to see everyone and just to go!!

I'm in class waiting for my professor to arrive and start the movie. We have history theater at least once a week. We watch a movie about what we've been studying.

I'm glad to be back in school because I need to keep myself busy. I have dorm inspections on Wednesday so in addition to homework and studying I need to clean my assigned area of the apt. I also need to order my materials for my trick or treat costume.

I hope everyone is having a good Monday even though it IS Monday.

Yay for a fabulous trip Were the crowds really terrible That's what I'm a bit worried about.... they definitely were huge last year. If yes, then that's probably our last Halloween trip for a while! We'll try a less busy time of year instead.
