Girls Only~ OLD THREAD, new one linked in first post

OK. Since I already printed them out, I will bring them to the M&G like I planned (FYI - I had my DH double check the #'s to the PMs sent before I printed the whole batch so should be accurate. :) )

For those not @ the M&G, I am pretty much attending almost all the other big group things except meals (so like PFF, the SH, etc) so should see you around. I will have the extras in my bag with me.

Sounds great! Thanks again! They really are helpful to have. :woohoo:

Mom and I got matching jammies frothe M&G today. There's one thing knocked off my list!
Cute!!

DH and I went to a friend's house last night for couple's poker night and DH took first place!! He got $225!!
Way to go!!!

So I cut my hair yesterday, and I am going to color in a few. Hope it all turns out ok, or I will be wearing hats on the trip only.
Girl, you know you can make anything look hot. ;)

I don't have a green shirt either. So I might be in pink, or purple or some color. I am going to buy red when I get there.
Oh good. I won't be the only rebel. lol

2) Beth - Thank you for updating the title of the thread. Honestly this last week, that's all I've been able to read!! :

4) I think I saw something about PMing the list before the trip? Didn't realize this was part of it. Should I just send the list via a bulk PM? Is everyone OK with that before the trip so people can put in their phones? :confused3
No problem. It's all there in the title and front page for anyone who needs it. :)
Some people liked having the list ahead of time to put it into their phone in addition to having a hard copy of it. Why don't you send me the list in a PM and let me send it on. I have more time than you do so I don't mind.

What are the lists that everyone has? Packing lists and any other lists that I'm missing?
Those of you who are in charge of other things, especially a meal, should print that out so you can check in and keep track of who needs to be arriving and make sure everyone is there.

So who's still going to be around for Mimi's breakfast on Tuesday??

I can't remember who was leaving when. Those of you still there and planning to attend the breakfast, what do you say we meet in the Hojo lobby area at 8:30 and walk over together?

I will be there, but I figure that you already knew that since we are traveling together :rotfl2:

I am having such a hard time staying focused tonight. I have been drooling over menus on allearsnet, checking FB between every resume, and basically doing whatever else I can to avoid work.

If you are signed up for the Monday BB dessert, this pertains to you, so please read and reply.

Blue Bayou dessert-only, Mon. @ 6:30
1. Beth/Mommau4
2. Shirley/anut4disney
3. Daisy/PrincessDuck
4. Steph/21yankees
5. Stacie/Stacerita
6. Cristabel/disney-inspired
7. Jane/cheshiregirl
8. Linda/lulubelle
9. Kerry/KerTggr
10. Vanessa/Disney_Princess09
11. Melissa
12.

Jane pointed out to me that on the allears menu for Blue Bayou, that the cookie boat is gone, the key lime pie is gone, the creme brulee trio is now just basic creme brulee. :sad2: So their dessert menu is basically nonexistent. I don't know why they removed all those items, but it hardly seems worth going there now. :confused3

I was looking forward to the atmosphere but now, I'm not sure I want to go. Anyone else on the list feel the same way??

What about those who were interested in dessert meeting someplace else instead? Maybe Gibson Girl for ice cream?
Or Wine Country Trattoria for dessert and wine??? :confused3 (NEVER MIND, APPARENTLY WCT IS CLOSED WHILE WE ARE THERE, SO THAT'S NOT A SECOND OPTION, SORRY!!)

PLEASE let me know your thoughts on this as we don't have much time to plan something new. Thanks!!!

I'm tempted to cut and color my hair but I don't think I'll have any time before Thursday. I definitely am getting my eyebrows done, thankfully there is a little salon very close to my school

LOL Yes, I know you, and Shirley and myself are going but I can't remember who else......

Hey Beth, I thought WCT was closed right now for renovations? If I was there, I'd join you for Ice Cream! popcorn::

Did anyone call and confirm that they removed those desserts?

Hey Beth, I thought WCT was closed right for renovations? If I was there, I'd join you for Ice Cream! popcorn::

Is it?? Well crap. I'm getting annoyed with DLRs lack of dining choices right now. WHY would they cut down the BB dessert menu??

Okay so scrap WCT as a second option. I guess we could go to Gibson Girl. I've never been there. Is THAT place going to be open? Do they still serve ice cream??? (those rolled eyes are for Disney, not you. lol)

I know for sure that the cookie boat is gone because there have been threads about it. Based on our other options, I'm thinking ice cream might be a good choice. I never actually get ice cream at disney 'cause I always end up with all the other yummy treats.

LOL, I know the eye rolls aren't for me! I'm not nearly as hormonal as I once was. LOL :lmao:

I think they do still sell Ice Cream. :rotfl2:

I'm up for whatever in the way of dessert. Ice Cream, Cake, Candy, etc... it's all good. :rotfl2:

Sounds fun. Enjoy!!

I am still recovering from my night out. I cannot stay out until 2 a.m. without feeling like crap the next day. Guess I'm too old now.

I just took a nap. I am doing laundry today, will start to pack tomorrow. Still not really sure what I'm packing. :confused3 I've looked high and low for a lime green shirt. Cannot find one that I can afford, that fits nicely and that is a style I'd actually want to wear again once the trip is over. So look for me in brown or something. ;)

Beth, you won't be alone. I have a lime green short sleeved cotton shirt - too cold to wear now! Lime green is a better summer color.

Please - no one sweat over the wrong color or wrong candy or anything. There are no wrong colors. There is no candy police. Just fun!

And you're not feeling old - remember, you've just been sick. Take it easy.
Take care of yourself so you can have a great time at DL.

I just found one of those thread about it: http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=2373214

Well, I guess what I need to know is do we still want to keep the reservation and go for the atmosphere and just order whatever dessert we can get? OR do we want to cancel and just go for an ice cream (or whatever) someplace else.

So those on the sign up for BB dessert, let me know specifically what you'd like to do. Keep the ressie? Or scrap it and do Gibson Girl?

Beth, I was thinking I wanted to pass on BB dessert, too. But I am staying Monday night and want to "be with the group" as late as possible. I have to get up early Tuesday and go to work.:guilty: I will be leaving Anaheim around 7:30 am. I think WWT is closed until May. Are we all eating dinner at Pizza Port? I forgot where the early dinner is that night. Maybe dinner can be around 6 and we can have dessert somewhere around 7ish? I don't know. Again, I will go where ever the group decides, I just want to be with everyone until around 8 pm Monday night when it will be time to pack it all up and hit the hay fairly early.

I hope some others chime in in the next day or so. :)
