3 weeks isn't that bad. I unfortunately was out of work from Thanksgiving until after Valentine's day the year I got mono. It was horrible. Plus since I was so weak, I caught Hep A at the same time. Ain't I lucky.

Wow that's horrible. I guess it's true when they say it just messes with your immune system in every way possible. I ended up getting three weeks of disability pay for it..but as a single mom and my ex unemployed not helping in any way I had to go back to work. I didn't have much of a choice. I certainly felt the effects on our DL trip 4 months later though.

Ok I don't know what they HEY but I don't know how you are getting into the photopass site Stacielee cuz EVERY time I have tried to get into it since I downloaded my pass it has said it is down for maintenace. Both yesterday AND today! What gives? How were YOU able to get in? Crazy!

Beth- Just wanted to say have FUN tonight and that I am SO jealous! I want to see Phantom SOO bad. That is my FAV play and I have seen it in SF but I want to see it in LV really bad!! Enjoy your evening!!!

and Heather- So sorry you got sick. I have never had that either but I have heard it can be a real you know what. Sure you hope start feeling better soon!!!

I have an adopted troll named Calvin that loves me as a sister. He thinks I am super smart because I know how to get a tender ride and a monorail cab ride. He is amazed by me knowing that the cruise he went on had all you could eat food including beef wellington which caused him to ask what beef wellington was.

I finally realized the best things about men probably is when they change light bulbs and when they make you feel like you are the smartest person in the world. Calvin is such an ego booster. He has a cold maybe or anemia, not sure which so I cannot get him to do the dishes, lol.

My troll/prince will do dishes and windows for $10 and some dinner. He has even done my laundry. I came home one night and he some how fixed my broken bed.

I am still trying to figure out everything about D23.

You guys got some good ones, too. I love the ones where you are sitting on a bench looking at Minnie or Mickey.

While I was gone, Ruben arranged for his parents to spend another night here in town and booked a hotel for us tonight somewhere (he won't say where, only that it's a surprise) and also got tickets for us to see Phantom of the Opera tonight. So now that I am all unpacked, I need to pack again for overnight.

Wow Beth, that's awesome! Phantom is the first musical I've seen and also one of my favorites. I think I watched it when I was in junior high and just fell in love with it. Hope you enjoy it as much as I did.

Hi ladies!! I am trying to catch up to all the chatter...I wish there were more hours in the day.

I started two classes today (well, actually yesterday ), Algebra and an ed. class on dealing with diversity in the classroom and curriculum. I hate math..it has taken me 2 hours to do 30 problems. And it is only the first day!


I put the bug in Brent's ear about October...he seems mildly interested. So that is good. I am still going to plan on being there.



I hope you all have a great night...after I get done with the rest of my school stuff, I am going to watch the episode of 24 that I missed yesterday.

Heather, I am so sorry you are sick! I feel so bad for you. I hope you start feeling better REAL soon.

I appreciate you and Stacie hanging out with me at my gate at the airport. It really made the time go by a lot faster and it helped spread the trip out just a wee bit longer.

Stacie---I hope your son gets to feeling better soon also! Mono is spreading like crazy I guess! I never had it and I hope I never do.
