WendyLouWho... i have this funny funny friend... whenever she gets sad...she puts on her wedding dress.. she's getting use out of that dress.. even if she can't zip it up anymore:rotfl2: she Loves her wedding dress!
she says.. i paid a fortune for this dress..it's the dress of my dreams.. i'm going to wear it out:snooty:
:rotfl2: Well, good for her. Some of those dresses are in the thousands and to spend that much for one day, seems silly.

Lovely pictures Melody! Thanks so much for sharing. :flower3:

How fun!! I'd love to go back someday. I only went once and it scared me. There was no parking anywhere and the houses were on top of each other!! :lmao: I need to give SF another chance.
Enjoy your trip and get well soon!

You do need to give it another chance! My girlfriends and I are trying to figure out how to get around. I say we just drive, but they're too scared too, they want to walk. I just laugh at them and say "seriously?" They are gonna hate themselves 'cause they want to do a 4 mile round trip walk from our hotel to the wharf. Then there's all the added walking of the Alcatraz tour we are doing and the walking from shopping. No way am I gonna do all that walking and still be able to bar hop at night. ...that went on longer than I expected. :rotfl2:

San Francisco is really fun. If you bring the kids, we definitely have to check out the Exploratorium. It is so much fun! Heck, even you and your hubby alone would probably enjoy it. :thumbsup2 I also love love love Golden Gate Park. Tons to see and do there. There is so much fun stuff to do in San Francisco, and so much fun to be had!

i must confess, i had a cup of coffee and it seems it's made me a little bit mean.

i never drink caffine.. but i was feeling really tired today and had alot to do..so i drank a cup of coffee and it's made me JiTTeRy:headache: .. now i know why i never drink caffine.:guilty:

i just hung up on a telemarketer... i feel bad.. because it's their job to call..normally i would have been nice let them say what they need to say.. but i just went *FaFiNkA~CLeeeeeeeeeeK*
how sad, i'm the meaN girL:mad:

You're not mean, they are use to it, believe me!

I had a cup of coffee and it made me all happy, now I remember why I drink coffee! :thumbsup2 I've been trying to be budget conscious, but today I decided I deserved coffee. My first call of the day was some guy yelling at me, 'cause he did not want to pay $100 for our services and he eventually just hung up on me. Which was fine with me, 'cause I was getting nowhere with him.

Big hugs Dawn!!! Just think of all the fun you'll be having this weekend!

Golden Gate Park is beautiful! i *Love* San Francisco.. there is alot of wonderful art there. You are going to have so much fun:hug:

When DBF and I went a few months ago we rented a car and didn't even use it except to drive from the airport to the hotel and back. :rotfl: We took the bus everywhere or walked. We did the Alcatraz Tour too. I had done it before the last time I was in SF but this was the first time for DBF. They actually had a former inmate doing a book signing when we were there. DBF bought me his book but I haven't read it yet.

Cabs. Cabs all the way. That's the only way we got around in SF, other than when we visited specific friends, b/c the hills and the parking and the everything was just crazy.

So I get official recall notices (from cpsc.gov...anyone with kids should subscribe to their recall letters, and anyone else should, too, b/c it's amazing how many things are recalled!!!!), and yet again there are about 4 companies having to recall sweatshirts b/c they put true drawstrings on childrens' clothing. And I have to know, how hard is it to NOT put true drawstrings on things for kids???? Why do manufacturers still do it? It's not allowed. Even Gwen Stefani's brand (L.A.M.B.?) had some hoodies recalled, and she HAS kids! She should know better.

I'm just tired of seeing "Children's Hooded Sweatshirts with Drawstrings Recalled by whatever Clothing Due to Strangulation Hazard" on my lists. Harumph.

Loving the wedding pix!

Afternoon all. Sorry I haven't been around. I FINALLY got a call back from the detective here in Sac yesterday and got some INTERESTING info and then I got a call TODAY from a Detective from the place where we think she is at. Let's just say I will leave at that for now just in case she might be checking the boards. Wouldn't want to give anything away. :) But I DO have some info and There WERE calls made from people so things are happening. The net is closing in on her that's for sure!

But anyway yesterday I saw my psych and today I saw my therapist and I was actually late. I thought my apt was at 11:30 and it was at 11 oopps!! I know I am missing TONS of posts and I am sorry but we have been SO busy with this mess. Trying to get it all worked out.

I am sorry if I am neglecting everyone. I promise I will get my act together once things calm down a bit and esp once I am back from my trip. WAY too much going on all at once.

For anyone that needs prayers I am there and for anyone that has good news you KNOW I am happy for you! Cheryl I know you are about to leave for my fav place and I am SO jealous! Have fun!

And again anyone I am forgetting well you know I love you all and I am thinking about you all when I am not schitzo! LOL.

I am off to pick up the girls and then tonight is their last church till after we get back. Next week is Open House for school and then the following week we will be gone. So better run. Have a GREAT day!

Here are some promised picures of the wedding. My family!

Dawn - you're not mean! You just need to get used to coffee :thumbsup2 Yummy.

I had a cup of coffee and it made me all happy, now I remember why I drink coffee! :thumbsup2

Oh, I need some coffee too! Today is Jesse's first day of ball hockey for the season, so this is the beginning of two months where my life is not my own :scared1: I'm the team manager (not sure how/why that ALWAYS happens!), so I get to be there for everything. Jesse loves it (I guess that's why it happens...... hmmmm). I will definitely stop by Starbucks and get me a Grande something delicious to help make it through the first practice (OK, all I really have to do today is sit on my butt in the bleachers and cheer them on - how hard is that, right??!!!!). It's the trying to coordinate and collect money from the other parents that is the difficult part. The kids are all the good stuff!

That is really cute. And she is right! They do cost alot.

I agree! Becky is such a pretty girl. Is she the one that worked with all those wannabe "Housewives of the O.C.?"
Yes....she was the one. Except it was in San Diego.

i must confess, i had a cup of coffee and it seems it's made me a little bit mean.

I can not believe that you were that mean!! I don't think you have a mean bone in your body!!

I love coffee!! Way better than Redbull! :rolleyes1

Wendy, Remember yesterday posting about your sweet Daddy? And I said that my DH was a sweet Daddy too.
When we were looking at wedding dresses, we knew we had a budget, and we kept to it. But one day while looking at veils, Becky found a beautiful one, but it was waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay more than Dave told us to spend. So we just said no to the lady and went home. I told Dave what happened, and nothing more was said. THe next day, when Becky got home from teaching, she found a package on her bed that said, "To Becky, Something to make your day a little more special. Love Daddy" She opened it up, and there was the veil. She started to cry, and asked me if I knew anything about it. I said no. He had gone to the bridal store all my himself, and found out what one it was, and then wrapped it up for her.

Wasn't that just the best thing for a Daddy to do??

Do I spy a butt bow? Wait til Stacie sees this :lmao:

I wasn't going to go there................ but I saw that too;)

Good afternoon everyone! I think I have a touch of a cold and I better get better really soon, because me and two of my gal pals are going to San Francisco this weekend!

Wendy, have fun in San Francisco!! That's yet another place I have never been (I was 30 the first time I was ever even on a plane :scared1: Wuss!!).

Hi everybody--I've only read back a couple of pages while I choke down a Del Taco shrimp taco.

This time tomorrow I should be in Orlando! And hopefully within 26 hours from now I'll be in DTD enjoying a cocktail somewhere!

I :lovestruc shrimp tacos!!! That is mighty early to be at the airport - you may need coffee :thumbsup2 Have a safe flight and enjoy a yummy cocktail in DTD for me!

Molly - I hope you get a good update on your friend soon!

My first plane ride was just a few months ago to SF. It was less than an hour thankfully.:rotfl:

That is such a sweet story!!! Give Dave big hugs for me for doing such a sweet thing! What a wonderful daddy!

Thanks! You're not a wuss, you're just not use to flying! ...or maybe you are watching to much LOST? :rotfl:

That's what I'm trying to convince them to do, but NOOOOO! I'm sure they'll change their minds once we get there. I have been many more times then they have and I'll only walk if we get to nap before we go out, but I don't want to nap, because I want to enjoy the city because I haven't been in over a year.

I love those short flights. I flew one time all the way to Boston by myself. That was one looooooooooong flight!!

I have been many more times then they have and I'll only walk if we get to nap before we go out, but I don't want to nap, because I want to enjoy the city because I haven't been in over a year.
Anybody that drives and parks in Frisco is nuts. One time I went with some friends, and we paid DEARLY for the parking, and kept getting stuck on one way roads. :headache:
