Sounds fun! My mom is my best friend too and I love traveling with her. Can't wait to hear about everything.

THE DESICION:

My dad and my younger brother were going to visit baseball parks all over the place and were going to leave us behind! I decided that instead of staying home for a week my momma and I should go to the happiest place on earth! DISNEY WORLD! My mom was on board and it was a go :worship: Thus began an adventure of a lifetime, a trip to remember, it would become Girls Gone Goofy.:goofy:

Chapter 1: Goodbye New Jersey Hello Disney!
August 17th 2011:
I woke up very early that morning. And I normally don’t wake up early for anything but for Disney I would:goodvibes My uncle was going to drop off my mom and I at the airport so we wouldn’t have to get a car service. That was a relief!

I had put my video camera on the top of my suitcase and since I was still a little tired, I pulled up the top of the suitcase and my camera fell on the floor and the lens cracked:scared1: That was a little upsetting but, it wasn’t that big of a crack. Anyway my uncle finally came and we were off to the airport. Mommy and me were in the check in line and finally got to the front. My mom had some trouble figuring the online ticketing machine out. It was like she had never been to an airport before. It was pretty funny just watching her trying to understand. At this point I was thinking too bad my dad isn’t here.

IMG_3328.jpg

We got to our gate and since we skipped breakfast we were pretty hungry. We saw an Auntie Annie`s on the way so we got something to eat. I got a yummy cinnamon pretzel and mom got just a normal pretzel:cloud9: A few minutes passed and we were boarding the plane! We were overjoyed, ecstatic, SUPER EXCITED!!

IMG_3331.jpg

IMG_3337.jpg

From the look you can tell I’m excited!

Finally, we landed. People were moving like turtles getting off the plane. I just wanted to scream come on people Magic Kingdom is calling us! Eventually, we were off the plane! We were on our way to the Magical Express.

IMG_3343.jpg

IMG_3345.jpg

I was videotaping while my mom was taking pictures!

We were heading on to the line when a lady with the Mickey Mouse hands comes up to us and gives us high fives and stickers! Pixie dust moment!!!!:tink:

IMG_3346.jpg

We got on the bus, but unfortunately we were sitting in the middle. I really wanted to be in the front so I could take a good picture of the sign. Oh well..:confused3 Then the movie started playing! I love watching this. It’s super cute!!!

As we were driving the sky turned gray and then the rain, rain, rain came down, down, down. This was upsetting. I really wanted to cry but my mom said it would clear up (and it did):cool1:

IMG_3349.jpg

Tune in next time for check in and going to Magic Kingdom!:mickeyjum

I only get up really early for Disney too. Otherwise, it's a no go.

You definitely looked really excited. And good decision going to WDW with your mom while the boys went elsewhere.

I Guess Disney just has that morning effect on people:rotfl:

I will definitely be uploading more posts often. Im just really busy with school right now. I got to work on my science skills but will have more fun coming up!:)

Thanks again for reading along!

Deciding on a hotel:

Okay so I last left off with the rain coming down. I hope you guys recognized the Winnie the Pooh connection. :goodvibes Anyway, I forgot to tell you were we were staying! Since it was just the two of us we were sort of going on a hotel budget. We both wanted to stay at Poly but when I calculated the price of the hotel I practically passed out! I knew it was going to be a lot of money but WOO BABY this was a lot!

We stayed at Pop Century. Pop was really cute! I love how there are all the different decades. I think it’s such a cute theme for a hotel! This was also our first time staying at Pop so it was an awesome way to start off our trip!

We had no problem checking in. Everything went swimmingly!:cheer2: Sorry that there are no pictures of the room; we were too excited to get out and head to Magic Kingdom!

Chapter 2: Celebrate A Dream Come True:

I love the rush of entering into the Magic Kingdom! It makes me feel like I’m home again! (Because Disney is my home) We walked in and they were starting the Celebrate a Dream Come True parade. I think that’s what the parade is called…not so sure?:confused3

Tune in next time for some snacks, rides, and some AC…stat! :mickeyjum

Chapter 3: Are You Sure you’re Not Going To Pass Out On Line For Peter Pan?

The last trip we took to Disney World was in 2010 and it was the first time I ever tried a Dole Whip. OMIGOD! THAT THING IS BASICALLY HEAVEN IN A BOWL! I LOVE IT SO MUCH! (just in case you didn’t get the memo);)Momma and I both got pineapple dole whips.

IMG_3398.jpg

IMG_3397.jpg

Me eating a piece of heaven!

After that we made our way to Fantasyland. The wait time for It`s a Small World wasn’t that long… probably 20 minutes or so. We got on in no time! :woohoo:

IMG_3411.jpg

Yay for Ireland!

IMG_3416.jpg

I wish they filled the other side with those girls

IMG_3417.jpg

Favorite picture on this ride

IMG_3418.jpg

Elephants are my favorite animal

IMG_3422.jpg

My aunt loves the hula dancers!

IMG_3428.jpg

Does anyone else get scared of these clowns!? They freak me out!

Yay! After leaving the happiest cruise that ever sailed, we made our way over to my favorite ride in Fantasyland…any guesses? If you guessed Peter Pan then you are correct :yay:

Unlike Small World, Peter Pan`s wait time was longer! My poor mommy wasn’t ready for this August summer heat. In line something unusual happened… mom wasn’t acting her happy, peppy self!!!! I asked her if she was ok and I said, “are you sure you’re not going to pass out in line?” She started to laugh and we decided to cool off and come back in line later on.

IMG_3439.jpg

We decided to head over to Tomorowland. What better ride to cool off in but the People Mover (A.K.A. Tomorrowland Transit Authority)

IMG_3442.jpg

Ahhhh… nice, relaxing, breezy ride…

After that we headed over to the Carousel of Progress. This ride is awesome! I love the part when its Christmas and the grandma and her grandson are playing the video game. That always reminds me of my brother on XBOX

After all that progress we headed over to our reservations for The Plaza for dinner. My mom loves trying new places to eat and she thought The Plaza was sort of a ‘hidden gem’.

IMG_3444.jpg

IMG_3445.jpg

My mom got this chicken rosemary salad I think

I saw nothing on the menu that I wanted. Yes, I am a very picky eater.

IMG_3446.jpg

I went with the traditional turkey club

One word about the sandwich… BLEH! I didn’t like it. My mom had to take some bites out of it so I looked like I ate a lot but come on, who are we kidding?:rolleyes1

Next came dessert. I have a peanut allergy and I love that Disney makes sure there`s no peanuts in anything when you are ordering!:lovestruc

IMG_3448.jpg

Mommy got ice cream

IMG_3449.jpg

I got a brownie Sunday. This thing was super chocolaty! It was a chocolate lover`s dream dessert!

The Plaza review:
Food- 2 out of 5
Service- 4 out of 5
Atmosphere- 5 out of 5

Tune in next time for my momma and my favorite parade! :mickeyjum

Sorry that my pictures are so huge! i will make them a little more smaller so it will be easier to see:goodvibes

Chapter 4: The Best Parade Ever Shown!

“LADIES AND GENTELMAN, BOYS AND GIRLS DISNEYLAND PROUDLY PRESENTS OUR SPECTACULAR FESTIVAL PAGEANT OF NIGHT TIME MAGIC AND IMAGINATION… THE DISNEYLAND ELECTRICAL LIGHT PARADE”!

Yes that’s right the electrical light parade! This is the best parade ever. I seriously could watch it for hours and never get bored! From this point on I will let the pictures do the talking.:cutie:

IMG_3452.jpg

Here is a happy blurry picture of me

So this concludes our magical first evening filled with heat, food, and bright beautiful lights and floats! We never did go back on Peter Pan but after dinner we went on some more rides so it all good;)

We headed back home and we got the souvenir cups. I got a purple one and mommy got a pink one. We shared a pizza and talked about what our game plan is for tomorrow. After that we headed back to the room and practically floated into bed and went to sleep. We had a full day at Hollywood Studios the next day and needed rest.

Until then, tune in next time for some more goofy girl fun :mickeyjum

Thanks for reading along and yes, we should start making a countdown!:cool1:

Chapter 4: Hooray For Hollywood!
August 18th 2011:

We woke up this morning probably somewhere around eight. I didn’t feel good this morning. My stomach was bothering me but I had to get going in order to go to MGM!

We skipped breakfast and decided that we would get something at a bakery there. We walked out of the room and it was SUPER HOT! We were on the top floor of the building in the 50`s section and by the time we walked down the bowling pin staircase we were sweating. I really didn’t feel good. My stomach hurt and my head hurt but that wouldn’t stop me!! NO WAY!!!!!!!!

Anyway, we walked in and it felt like I was going to pass out. I needed water and food! We went to Starring Roles and I wanted this chocolate chip muffin SO BAD! It was calling my name!:littleangel: Remember how I told you I have a peanut allergy… well the muffin wasn’t peanut free. WHAAAAAAA! Tear tear:sad1: The lady showed us the allergy table instead. I got a brownie. But it was also a gluten free brownie. BLEH! It was not good! I wanted my muffin!!!!!:headache:

IMG_3549.jpg

But I did love my apple juice

IMG_3542.jpg

IMG_3543.jpg

IMG_3541.jpg

My mom and I tried to wear matching shirts!:cool1:

We then did something so fast, and exhilarating. We made a dash to TSM! There’s something you should know. In Disney I get very competitive when it comes to fast passes, getting in line first, etc. So I basically rushed to get those for my mom and I. :jumping1:

After that we met our two favorite chipmunks! Chip and Dale  They are so cute!

IMG_3544.jpg

Dale is holding my hand! Awwww so cute!

IMG_3545.jpg

They loved momma

Then we met the mascot of this TR!

IMG_3547.jpg

GOFFY!!!!!!!!! (Pluto tagged along too)

Then we were walking and the cast members were doing the little acts or plays on the street and one of the ladies who was part of the show came up to us. She saw our celebrating pins and when they asked if anyone is celebrating something special that lady came up to us again! We announced to the audience that we are celebrating our mommy, daughter trip! Then they gave us fast passes for Rock ‘n’ Rollercoaster. Pixie dust moment :tink:

IMG_3548.jpg

She must have been sweating! It was probably a million degrees in that costume!

We have already been in the park for a while and haven’t gone on any ride yet!

We decided to go to the American Idol show. This show is fun to watch. My mom was joking that she was going to audition for it and sing her heart out! I was like mom, no please don’t :lmao:

This guy who looked like a surfer dude won. He was really good. I voted for him for two reasons. 1. He was AMAZING at singing. 2. He was REALLY cute! :goodvibes

After that we made our way over to TOT. My stomach wasn’t feeling so great and I knew that by going up and down and up and down it would make it worse. So we decided to take a picture with it instead.

IMG_3550.jpg

Then we made probably the best decision to keep us cool… we got one of those water mister things. I could hear the angels singing the hallelujah song!:littleangel: The lady who sold it to us saw our pins and said she wished she was with her mom. Luckily, I get to hang with my momma!:lovestruc

As we enjoyed our mister we decided to do some shopping!

IMG_3554.jpg

This store has awesome clothes!

Up next we found ourselves in the streets of America section!

IMG_3556.jpg

WELCOME TO NEW YORK!

IMG_3565.jpg

IMG_3572.jpg

I love Singing in the rain!

Tune in next time to see some action, 3D fun, one man`s dream, and rain :mickeyjum

Love reading about our trip. Makes me want to go agan! Why did it take us until day two to realize we needed those water misters. The heat was unbelievable, but we had so much fun. Can't wait to read more and see our pics.
