Day 4 Sunday
Today was MGM. We parked at TTC since we were heading to MK later and took the bus to MGM. We got there about 9:45. Laura and I grabbed FPs for TOT (Jen doesnt do this one) and then we did standby for RNR. The line was about 20 minutes, not too bad. When we got off we all grabbed FPs for RNR and Laura and I went to TOT. We were through the preshow and in line inside in about 5 minutes. I LOVE FASTPASS! The standby line was already 45 minutes. After TOT we went over to the Great Movie Ride. This is where the waiting started. We waited almost 40 minutes. Laura and I love this ride and Jen had never been on it so we figured it was worth it. While the ride itself was great as usual, our little skit wasnt. The original driver we had was good, but the female robber who kidnapped us was pathetic. She mumbled all of her lines and when we got to the temple where our driver was there to save us, she climbed the steps and literally stood there with her hands on her hips talking to him until the last possible second when she grabbed for the jewel. I mean seriously, if you dont like your job, find something else. People spend too much time and money to see something like that at Disney!! We were hungry by this point so we went to ABC Commissary. It took over 20 minutes to get our food, and it wasnt very crowded. The food was good as always, but the service was the worst I had ever had at Disney (till that point anyway, stay tuned until tomorrow!!). After lunch we did Millionaire, Jen was #1 on the leader board at one point!! Then we did Little Mermaid and the Backstage Tour. When we were done with that we noticed that they were letting people in to the new stunt show. It was REALLY good!! The stadium was HUGE, but I can see why theyre expecting big crowds. Definitely worth checking out!!! Next we did Muppets, Star Tours, and then got drinks and grabbed a spot for the parade this is my favorite parade of all!!! After the parade, Laura and I did RNR again, then we grabbed dinner at the turkey leg place right near it. We shopped a little then went in to see Fantasmic. We got there an hour early and the theater was already almost half full. It was COLD but we stuck it out, I just love that show!!
After Fantasmic we caught the bus to MK. Once at TTC they were making everyone take the Ferryboat over to the park. By the time we got in, Wishes was already starting and Main Street was JAMMED. We got snacks and just sat on the curb and people watched. As soon as it ended there was a mass exodus which was perfect because then there werent that many people left for the 11PM Spectro!! After Spectro we went back to the hotel and crashed as it was after midnight and about 40 degrees out!
Tomorrow Epcot and ending the weekend at Boardwalk.
