Girl Scout cookies

i always sold the most in my age group, like 400 boxes evry year, and the rest of the troop would sell like 30. i was a joinor leader for my mother and sisters troup, (my mommy was a semileader!! <33) we had to go to walmart in -4 DEGREEE WEATHER. i reeeally love girlscout cookies, but why cant they sell them outside in the middle of the summer?!?!? the weather ALWAYS turned bad for us. . . .

Anyways we got ours last night. My sister is a GS and we ordered 15 boxes. YAY! My favorite is Thin Mints. I was a GS for 6 years so I sold my fair share!

Both my younger sisters are Girl Scouts, so I ordered a box from each - Carmel Delites and Thin Mints

I think we get them this weekend because my mom is a leader for one of my sisters' troops, and she has to go pick them up.

You call them[Samoas] that too?! I took some to school and my friend was like "Oh I love Carmel Delites!". I'm like WTH? So she explained it to me and I was like "Um, ok!". Whatever.

GS cookies always come at the wrong time! Whenever I say I wanna start eating better these little boogers always come so then my "diet" is thrown off! Grrrrrr but they are so darn good!

Yeah! My mom (a leader) recently educated me on the names after we bought ice cream that was "Samoas" flavored - which we know as Carmel Delites.
Well apparently there are 2 different GS cookie bakers, some of the names are the same (thin mints) but some are different (samoa v. carmel delite) so I guess it depends on your location/where your GS troop council gets the cookies from.


Also I would like to add that a local coffee shop makes this delicious iced coffee called Girl Scout cookie. It's white chocolate chip iced coffee, cream and sugar, crushed thin mints, creme de menth and whipped cream on top! It is sooo good.
