Girl Scout cookie math problem... :-)

Will 1050 boxes of Girl Scout Cookies fit into my Dodge Grand Caravan with one of the Capt's seats removed or was our leaders eyes bigger than my van???

if they are well stacked, possibly. I'm not too sure though. I've only seen the outside of one of those, and not been inside. so I'm not sure.

That is about 88 cartons. If packed right, maybe, but I would try to have an extra car!!!

Well... lemme think this through. Approx 1,000 boxes. That's 10 rows of 100 boxes. I think that if you stacked them correctly, you could make it fit.

They come packed 12 in a case.

You can fit about 60 to 75 cases in a minivan based on whether you have passengers and how big your minivan is...but then again you'd have to do the math to figure out how many cases equals 1050 boxes.

There's about 12 boxes of cookies per case.

Don't forget to factor in that those boxes get smaller every year. They might just fit.

Speaking a a Girl Scout volunteer for years and a Troop Leader for one, I'm glad you're getting the second minivan. I don't think there's any way that approximately 90 cartons will comfortably fit in a Dodge Grand Caravan. You could possible wedge them all in, but it'd be tight and you might have to crush some to make them all fit ...

Some of the paperwork I got for being cookie mom this year actually had how many cases would fit in what kind of vehicles. Of course the troop leader has it until tomorrow. We start selling Sat. Good luck.

OH, I found it. A minivan with the seats in will hold 75 cases.

Yep, I was going to tell you to look at your paperwork! I thought that was hysterical that they actually listed the capacity for the average vehicle. But that was before I realized the size of our troops order last year (or actually, the size of my DD's order!!)
