We just ate at Giordanos Pizza in Kissimmee and it was wonderful! We had lots of leftovers to bring back to condo for another night.:thumbsup2

It is wonderful! We have it in Chicago all the time and were pleased to see you can have it delivered to your room.

there are usually coupons in the coupon books at the entrances of off site hotels and shops and restaurants that have coupon for free tomato basil bread app. there too.
it's delicious.

never heard of that place but if we run across it we'll give it a try.. thanks for the heads up.

This is our new favorite 'Disney' restaurant.
And we live close to Chicago so we will be visiting our favorite restaurant over the summer.

Yummo!

I think they're still selling the certificates at Restaurant.com.They always have 70%-80% off sales so a $25 certificate that sells for $10 you can get it for $2-$3.Last time we ate at the Giordano's on 535 in Lake Buena Vista with the Certificate we were so stuffed we had so much leftover that we were never going to be able to finish it so my head went to work knowing I had seen homeless at the Sand Lake rd exit by International Drive as we were staying by there. We got off I-4 and sure enough I asked him if he wanted some pizza,he thanked us and took it to a bus bench and started chowing down.I knew we had ordered too much for appetizers and those pizzas are like 4 inches deep but at least I'm glad someone hungry was able to finish it.

I bet! I have always wanted to try their pizza. The pictures look so good on their website!

I was finally going to try one, I was very excited. I called to make sure they didn't add any MSG to their foods, because I'm allergic and I don't want the family eating foods with added monosodium glutamate and I was shocked to find out they do ADD it to their foods ~ all of them :scared1:.

Even the cheese pizza . It must be in the sauce :(

So, I didn't get to try any. I never will

The only other restaurant that ever told me they actually ADD MSG to ALL their menu items was KFC.

:cool1: I LOVE them! It's our absolute must have every trip. DH jokes that it's the only time it's okay to eat pizza with a fork and knife.

Oh No! The past 2 times we were in Disney (2000 and 2005) we ate her and loved it.

I have a GC from restaurant.com I had planned on using here in May, but I too can't east MSG because it makes me sick now. :sad2: No Giordano's for me

Yes it is very good but being from Chicago there are other places that are better here. Give Gino's East or Lou Malnati's a try, you will not be disappointed!

How about Pizzeria Uno,they have Uno's locations about a 5 minute walk from the Giordanos locations on Lake Buena Vista and on Sand lake rd by International Drive.Uno a couple of years apparently changed the way they cook the pizza to come out faster but it's just not the same,it's about 1/2 as deep as it used to be or compared to Giordanos pies, where they still take like 40 minutes to cook.I've been wondering for years why there are no Chicago style pizza places down here in Miami as Uno left years ago.I actually started seeing ads for a place called Dr.Pizza which supposedly does Chicago deep dish by my house,I had to order from them as I love deep dish pizza however when I went to pick it up the place is basically a take out delivery place in a warehouse building.Obviously I was a little concerned but what the heck let's try it.It actually wasn't bad but far from great, tons of cheese but little meat or tomato sauce,I'll only order it again if I'm having a serious deep dish pizza craving.Another place I heard somewhat close to me that has deep dish pizza is Bj's Restaurant and Brewhouse, this is obviously a major chain but I wonder if anyone knows how good they are.

Yes they are worth a try too! The other places I mentioned are just here in the Chicago area and I was giving her a suggestion when she is here.:thumbsup2

I know to each their own, but there is no way that Unos pizza is in the same ball park with Giordanos pizza

Eat here on our last visit because a friend gave us a coupon/gift certific from restraunts.this will be on our must due list the next trip pizza was great and there was so much left over we had lunch for the next day.

I think they both suck equally. Gino's East is decent pizza.

Giordanos is definitely an acquired taste... I'd sooner eat dominos... *which means I wouldn't* sort of like arreulio's (sp).

Sometimes I think people like it because it's overpriced, lol. I can't figure it out.

Who knows, some people genuinely love it... goes back to that acquired taste thing I suppose. :confused3

To each his/her own. I'd skip it personally, too many yummy places in and near WDW to waste on it IMO.
