Gingerbread men on the loose!

This is so cute! At my two sons' school, the principal has made several announcements about gingerbread men on the loose at the school. Apparently, the night custodian has spotted them several times and has tried to chase them down. The most recent report was that he almost captured them, but he couldn't and they're still running around. The kids love the announcements and can't wait to hear them in the morning. I think it makes school a little more fun! I can't wait to hear if they ever get caught. I have a feeling they'll announce it on Friday morning before the kids leave for Christmas vacation. Too bad my boys are missing school that day to hop on a plane for WDW! I guess the gingerbread men will have to wait...

At my nieces school the gingerbread are on the loose too and they sent home a note asking if they were spotted to send a postcard from wherever so they could map them and learn about the spots.

So funny thing is when I was in FL last week I spotted my niece's gingerbread at the gingerbread house at the GF!

A note went back to the school with the picture of the house and the information about all the gingerbread creations at Disney this time of year.

I know my niece is going to really love that.
