Gingerbread house Grand Floridian & carousel Beach Club

Does anyone know the dates for the gingerbread house at the Grand Floridian? What about the chocolate carousel at the Beach Club? We didn't get to see them last year, but going later this year so hoping we can see them.

We went the week before Thanksgiving about 6 years ago, and the gingerbread house was already up.

We have gone to Beach Club the Thursday before Thanksgiving for several years, and the carousel has either been up or been being built upon our arrival. I would say it's always been done BY the Sunday before Thanksgiving.

I don't know how long they keep the christmas decorations up. . .through mid-January maybe?

It really depends on how long they keep the decorations up, but it's usually during the first week of January.

We were staying at Beach Club last year until Jan 7th. They took down the carousel on Jan 5th around midnight. We saw them doing it. They just break the gingerbread with a hammer and sweep it up. they kept asking people if anyone wanted some of the gingerbread but I didn't see any takers. I wouldnt want to eat something that has been out in the open for months catching sneezes and coughs and whatever else people spew into the air.
