Gingerbread at Grand Floridian

Okay, I've heard that they sell gingerbread houses at the gingerbread house at the GF, anyone know how much they are? And do they take Disney Gift Cards?

I don't remember how much they are but they WILL NOT ship them. Since they are very delicate, shipping is impossible.

HOWEVER they do sell Gingerbread men, "Shingles", which is the actual cookie dough the big gingerbread house is made from (JMHO but it is gross and does not taste like the other cookies sold there)There is also Decorated gingerbread ornaments, which are really beautiful. They are different shapes like snowflakes, made from gingerbread and decorated and they have a ribbon thru them so you can give them as gifts and to hang on your tree. Last year I bought a bunch of these in different shapes and colors. I saved some for myself and used them for package decorations. Everyone loved them. You can save them.

If you love gingerbread then I would recommend getting the gingerbread men, they are really really good. The "shingles" are really really gross and expensive....if I remember corectly they are $11.00 a piece!

Quite hoinestly the GB houses are just average, nothing special and on top of that very expensive. You can get much better in your local bakery.

We were at the GF Saturday and the house was up. They said the gingerbread houses went on sale yesterday.

I am not sure but I think they are around $25.00. and they are kind of small. They did not take gift cards last year. Hope that helps!
