I did some checking while at work tonight. The typical dose for an adult is 1000-4000mg and ginger is avaliable in capsules 100mg, 400mg, and 550mg. these all range from about 5-10 dollars for a 100 count bottle. I could not find any of our reference books with pediatric doseing, most didn't have dosing at all since you can't overdose. Generally speaking herbals for children are dosed at their relationship in weight to an adult. for children over 2 years old and around 50 pounds it would be 1/3 the adult dose or 300-1300mg. Best advice is to try a low dose then work your way up until you get the effectiveness you want.
