Gimbals on rides

Are camera gimbals allowed on rides? More specifically, a rollercoaster like big thunder? I have a Canon that I use to film rides but on some it can get quite shakey. I know they're allowed into the park, but what about rides?

Gimbals are OK on rides.
But, some attractions have high enough G forces to render them ineffective.
