gifts received that you might now make (or buy)............

Just wondering if anyone received "anything" that they might in turn make as a gift for next year? I do try to think "ahead" so that I can get supplies at a reduced cost. Of course, a picture would be fabulous!

One thing I do, is to make my gift labels on the computer and I have already updated my list and have some printed for next year. I print some with both the "to and "from" names and then I print some with just the "from" filled in and the "to" blank - nice time saver!

I keep all my christmas cards that i recieve to make tags for the next lot of presents .
I use pinking scissors to cut out the pictures, then use a hole punch and thread some thin ribbon or silver or gold thread i have in my cotton box.

I got the Brother SE 270-d Sewing machine. The Disney embroidery is awesome. I know I will be making a lot of gifts next year.

If anyone has good ideas for embroidered gifts, I would love to hear it. I am interested in original things too.

Does anyone else have this machine and how do you like it?
