Has anyone used them for their special event planning?

If so, what was your opinion? If you did a scavanger hunt, then how difficult were the clues? Would you use them again? And of course, any other commentary is greatly appreciated as I am considering using their services for the event suggestion they emailed to me.

Jane is the best. We have used her several times and will use her services again. This is a nice extra for those who have been several times and are looking for something new.

The clues were easy, though I will say the first time we must have all been blind as the next "clue" was in front of us for a good 5 minutes before Jane got my attention to point it out. I don't know what I was expecting but it was sitting there and none of us saw it. After that smooth sailing.

It was relly a highlight for the girls, without giving anything away, every subsequent MK trip, something about our hunt comes up, as we pass a shop or a spot that we had found a clue....oh remember this is where :thumbsup2 While I was hesitant at first as it is not cheap it certainly is worth every penny in fun and memories.

I'm working with Gifts of a Lifetime on an event for my trip next month. Jane is very creative and has tons of great ideas -- and she's been very nice about dealing with all of my family's quirks and requirements!

Even though we haven't had our event yet, I'm convinced it will be exactly what I want. I'll post a report after our trip!

I too am very curious about this. I am thinking about this for my nephew who will be turning 16 while we are there. I was not sure if it would be something a 16 year old boy would like. I thought Epcot would be a good park to have it in. I, also, would love to hear some more opinions from others who have done this.

They do much more than just scavenger hunts. I get the impression that they don't want to talk too much about the kinds of events they do because it might ruin someone's surprise, but I was looking for something to surprise the family when we got back to the room on our first full day, and what they came up with was great, even though I had lots of specific "dos and don'ts" that they had to work around.

As for the 16-year-old enjoying it -- I'm a horror writer, and Jane told me about an event that she has done for adult horror fans that sounds brilliant. I'm sure that they can come up with something for any age.

We were surprised by Gifts of a Lifetime for my DW's 50th Birthday. They were fantastic. They met us by the Downtown Disney Fire Station and presented her with a rose and "Happy Birthday" Disney ears. They then disappeared. They reappeared at "Country Bear Jamboree" and the Disney CM came out at the end of the show and told everyone to sing Happy Birthday to my wife and the G o L "pixie" proceeded to give her a second gift.

When we left there we went to Big Thunder Mtn Railroad and when the ride ended the Disney CM and the G of L pixie met our "Train" and again gave my DW another gift and a "Happy Birthday". This went on throught the morning at each of our stops. The Haunted House was the best - It was a riot - everyone singing in the dark - and another gift!

That evening we took a private boat ride from Beach & Yatch Club docks to MGM and back and then we were taken to the bridge that goes from the International Gateway where the boat parked and we had a front row seat for "Illuminations". It was a great day! This event was planned by our son and daughter-in-law and was a surpise to both of us.

I highly recommend them!

About how long do the park scavenger hunts last? Is it just in one park or spread out around the four? We just returned from Hilton Head and our son participated in a few of the scavenger hunts around the resort and had a blast! We thought this might be fun to set up for our WDW trip in July, but did not know if would be a day thing or just an hour or so. My DH and I thought it would be really fun if it was around all parks and lasted a while! :)

Thanks for any info! :wizard:

Events can last as long or short as you want them too. Talk to Jane and let her know what you are thinkng about time wise and I'm sure that she has ideas for all time frames.
You can choose your park and or parks. It's pretty much up to you what you want.
