Gifts/Goodie Bag ideas for kids

When my in laws were taking us and our kids our their first Disney trip, my MIL made one of those paper link chains with one link for every day starting the day she gave it to us. The kids took turns tearing off one link every day

Cool idea, we did this too. It was easy and low cost, since the rings were going to get tossed anyway. Just decorated them with some Disney stickers we had hanging around. My DS loves to pull a link out each day. I think it even helped him with math and counting too.

Holy cow those things are cute. I want them. For myself.

Okay...maybe I'll get DD one :)

My DD13 loves Pooh but she got the medium sized Donald one because he is just SO cute.

I thought they were circular! I guess I just ignored the "twinkie sized" description.

Some ideas off the top of my head.

Maybe a cheap disposable camera she can take pictures while she is on the trip but, no big deal if she looses it or breaks it.
Some sort of small craft project you could probably find a kit at your local craft store that lets her decorate a crown or fairy wand.
A DVDs for a disney movie she hasn't seen yet, it's good to educate children about the classics.
A small disney themed backpack for her to take on the trip.

What about Disney gift cards? There are really cute designs on the cards. You could just load them with $5 each (then your DD could use it to buy her own Mickey Bar or Krispie Mickey at the parks). We buy some around Easter with $5 on them and hide them (rather than too much chocolate).
Maybe a small Disney purse or wallet to keep her Disney gift cards in?
Enjoy!

The camera is such a great idea!

Another good idea - thanks!
