What did you get your parents? I'm at a loss here...Figure if I start thinking about it now I can save up the money to get them something great...Which they more than deserve!
Our wedding was 4 days after my parents 25th wedding anniversary so we got them an anniversary frame from Things Remembered. But the best gift was that I made them a scrapbook starting with their baby pictures up to our wedding. It took me 13 months, the length of our engagement, to finish it. It made both my parents cry.

I got my parents a couple small things, But along with that I made them a reservation at Victoria and Alberts and bought them enough Disney GC to cover their meal.
I know my dad had been trying to get my mom to go there for years. So I did it for them. Otherwise, I don't know if they ever would have thought of it.
I did the same thing for my MOH. I got her and her husband a ressie at Le Cellier and a GC to pay for it.
Also, not my doing but it worked out that way. My MOH and I had a room at the GF, and so did my parents. They told me at check in that my parents had been upgraded to theme park view but we hadn't. SO I jokingly asked that they tell my parents it was "compliments of the bride"....and they did! lol! I felt a little bad when she thanked me, but it was pretty funny!
Since my parents, DF's mom and grandparents are contributing to the wedding, we're getting them each this frame with our names and date (it costs an extra $6 for the etching):
Then, for my parents who are contributing considerably more (and bring us on every vacation), we're getting precious moments figurines (my mom collects them) for my Mom and Dad:
These gifts don't compare to what I'd like to get them but it's just not in the budget...maybe for Christmas! HTH!

These are some great ideas. My worry is DF's mom. Hmmm...I don't think I could be lucky enough to get her a theme park view LOL...that is awesome! I'm thinking something more to hold onto. While myt parents love food...I dont think they even know V&A exists. They just stayed on property in Feb for 1 day...My mom was in love, but they don't know all the little ins and outs.... I don't know....

For our parents, we got them a really nice lenox wedding album, and after the wedding we're going to get pics from our photographer to put in them so they'll each have their own album from the wedding.

I hadn't planned on getting my dad anything (he's paying for the wedding, and thinks that if I get him something it would be pointless)
But after looking at Mac this weekend. I've decided I'm getting him an ipod video filled with his favorite cartoons and shows. (Dr. Who and Phebus and Ferb)
DF's parents: I have no idea. I don't know them that well. I'm sure I'll make a photo album for them, but other then that I'm not sure.
Irisbud and Characterfan - you guys have excellent ideas!!!! I have been watching this thread very closely because I am totally clueless as to what to do. I like your ideas by far the best because they are different.
So, I was waiting for a friend to show up for lunch today and had sometime to pull out my notebook and jot some thoughts down. (am I the only one that keeps a notebook handy just in case those wedding ideas pop into her mind?)
Anyway, I have a couple of things that I'm going to do. For example, handkerchiefs for the mom's and my dad, but for some reason I thought this was standard
I like the photobook idea-my mom likes the coffee table books...Hmmm...decisions decisions...
Keep the ideas coming!
