Giftcard question

I have a question about using Disney giftcards to pay for our reservation. I work at Target and can get a discount on Disney giftcards there. Is there any sort of limit to the amount of giftcards I can apply to my reservation? I tried looking online and get mixed results, does anyone have any first hand experience with this?

The largest denomination Target sells is $50 so it will take quite a few cards to pay off the entire reservation.

No! I used 50 or so to pay off our trip earlier this year. All $50 and $25 denominations. I just logged into my reservation and applied them there.

We paid for our entire trip using $100 and $50 gift cards. No problem! Just logged on and made payments.

For my upcoming trip I used a debit card for the deposit, made a whole bunch of payments using a few thousand dollars worth of $50 gift cards, then paid off the rest of the trip using a second debit card.

It sounds like they take unlimited cards/payments until it is paid off.
