Hi there,
We head off on Sunday next week and have been thinking of ways to entertain DS3 on the flight. A neighbour suggested gift wrapping the toys and books that we are taking on the flight so that he not only gets some new toys etc to play with but has fun in unwrapping them too.
Sounds like a great plan, but I'm just wondering if it could get us into difficulty when going through security leaving the UK. Obviously it won't matter when going through the x-ray scanners as the contents will show clearly through the wrapping, but what about any spot checks where security check the bag? Would they want us to unwrap stuff? Guess I'll need to carry it as DH always seems to get chosen for the spot checks
Anyone carried wrapped stuff through customs, with or without success?
Thanks
