Gift with purchase or discount on receipt?

Anything currently going on at DLR? I've seen on my receipt before save 10% at certain stores before 10:00am or something similar. My son wants an expensive toy from Star Traders and I'm hoping to save a few $ or at least get a "gift" with purchase type thing.

I haven't seen DLR do a "gift with purchase"-type offer in a while. They usually have a "purchase with purchase" item; lately it's been either a tote or a blanket that you could buy for some amount if you spend a minimum amount (I can't remember the exact amounts at this point).

You could buy Disney gift cards from Target with your red card which you get 5% off. If you don't have a red card it's free to get.

A Disney Visa from chase gets you 10% off purchases over $50 at any Disney owned store. Also, a lot of the Star Wars items sold in Star Traders are available in the real world at lower prices. Some are exclusive to Disney, but not all.

When we were there in November some of our receipts had "save 20% before 1pm" at certain stores. It was for Star Trader, Emporium, World of Disney, Elias & Co, and one other I think. I have no idea if they are still offering any deals like that, but we noticed it showing up on receipts from counter service restaurants like Bengal BBQ, Village Haus, and Flo's, so watch for that. We didn't even know to look for the deal until one CM told us about it.
They have some awesome toys at Star Trader that you simply cannot find anywhere else. I could come home with a few suitcases full! Good luck!

OMG, my son is soooo going to want that. Good thing he saves money for each trip & his Grandma always gives him a bunch of spending money to take along.

Yes! The receipt things was what we saw when we were there in Decemeber. Hoping they are still doing that

I've seen the discount coupon the receipts in the past as well, but it's not offered year around. I think it's primarily offered during the holiday shopping periods and potentially other peak periods.
