Gift Suggestions for 50th Birthday for Guy?

Any gift suggestions for a surprise 50th birthday party for a guy? I am looking for either a joke gift or more of a token gift. I would appreciate any suggestions. Thanks!

how about those Jumbo Universal Remote Controls you can get at Bed Bath and Beyond and use a 20% off coupon or the $5 off $15 or more. This way it can be a joke gift but its still functional.

I shop at a local party store with a good selection of gag gifts specifically for 50 year olds. My favorite gift was the time I bought a "50" baseball cap with long gray hair. Our friend was wearing it and his teenaged son didn't recognize him. Cracked the whole party up.

I like gag gifts.
How about:
The cane with little mirrors on the bottom for looking up skirts. They sell them at Spencers Gifts.
Or gift bag with straw in it. Attach a tag that says Straw Hat some assembly required.
Gag viagra- popsicle stick and tape.
Make a disturbing card using a picture you find online of a naked old lady.

For my stepdad's 50th, my mom sent out "surveys" to everyone she could think of (whether they could come to the party or not.) There were questions, where did you meet George, what's the craziest thing you've ever seen him do... I forget all what they were. She asked for copies of pictures too.

The results were *hysterical* though. (Rather eye opening, lol) Mom asked some people to read parts at his party. (We sent the grand kids out of the room for a couple of them )

He got all the papers at the end, got some great laughs, a few tears (friends/family members who'd passed on.) All in all, it was definitely "budget" and meaningful.
